Some Light In The Darkness 2

Mane- Ok well she’s not mad mad she’s just mad cuz he turned his back on her and so she has no friends now. And the reason they both get in the same car is because Sam has known Angel since she moved there and if he didn’t give her a ride his mom would find out so he gives her a ride home and his mood changes alot and he has no chose but to hate her. You will find out why l8ter

As I stared out the window I watched the trees go by in a blur how many times had I been in this car and we had been talking about games and dinner and food but now we just sit here and not a word is said.

I looked over at him and saw his eyes flash to me.

"What you lookin at?" He asked and looked over at me.

"Your ugly face Sammy." I said sweetly.

"Dude look who’s talkin ugly duck." he sadi and looked back out to the road

"Why Sammy how could you!" I said playfully tryin to hold back laughter.

"Sorry you know I can’t lie." He said shakin his head.

"Ha! And a fat guy can beat me in a race! That’s a load of shit." I said tryin not to burst into giggles.

"Hey watch your mouth little miss." He says and I bust out laughing. Then there was a noise from behind and I looked back and noted that there was that kid in the car. I turned my head away and looked back out the window. It was starting to get dark mom was going to be pissed. As we pulled onto the gravel road I caught sight of Margo my mom’s dog.

I sighed and laughed. How cute the big black lab was.

"What’s so funny Angel?" Sam asked and I looked over at him. He was watching me with a small smile on his face.

"See that black spot out there?" I asked and he looked

"Ya what about it?" He asked looking back at me.

"Well that’s Margo." I said and watched his eyes widen.

"But she was just a puppy!" He said lookin back out my window.

"Not anymore." I said laughing.

"God." He said shaking his head.

"Tell me about it." I said and smiled at the big black moving shape as it ran towards our farm house.

We pulled into the drive and I got out. And turned back and looked in.

"Well thanks for the ride Sam." I said and I shut the door and walked up to the front door and looked back. He was sitting there watching me and I sighed. Tomorrow will be no different then today.

I opened the door and walked in.

"Mom! I’m home!" I yelled up the stairs and put my coat on the hook.

"Where have you been?" She asked as she came down the stairs.

"I was um....." I said trying to think up a good excuse.

"Um? What?" she asked.

"I was just out walkin." I said smiling at her.

"Oh ok." she said giving me a look that told me that this time I was off the hook...

"Yep now I’m just going to go to my room." I said and walked over to the basement door and opened it and walked down to my room. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes. How could I have done that? How did I talk to him? How did he talk to me? Why did he talk to me? We never and I mean never talk. It’s like against his new rules for being cool.

I sighed and opened my eyes and sat up. Time to do my homework. I got up and walked over to my bag and pulled out my world history book. I had an essay due. I started working on it and lost track of time.

"Yo! Time for dinner! Get you but up here!" My brother Seth yelled down at me and i looked up and saw him watching me. His blond hair was all messed up from bed I would guess. He was strong and He was the star football player.

"You know you could knock first!" I yelled back up.

"Ya but where’s the fun in that?" He asked and laughed.

"Whatever you freak." I said and smiled and got up and walked up the stairs.

"Oh please don’t talk about yourself sis." He said and smiled.

"Ya whatever." I said and rolled my eyes.

I walked past him and into the ketchen. The smell of food was well YUM! Seemed we were having burgers and french frys. YUMMMMM!!!!!

"Homework done?" Mom asked

"No almost thow." I said and smiled at her and sat down.

"Good." She said happy.

"Yep." I said and smiled again.

"Oh hey mom my friend Conner wants to come over is that ok?" Seth said lookin up from his food.

"Ya oh and hey Angel homework needs to be done before bed." She said and walked out into the living room.

"K." I said and finished eating then went back down to my room and started again on my essay
