You thought it was your duty,
You risked you life and fought,
You fought for this country,
To make sure we all are free,

Many lives were lost
Many families now alone
But your memory lives forever
Every time we wake up

Every time we have a cookout
Every time we go to church
Every time we "Pledge Alliegence"
We might not even no it

But it's all because of you
If you didn't go out and fight
Fight for all of us
We would not have all these rights

We would not be as free as we are
Without your heroic behavior
America would be so different
From that you are our savior......
