Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter
- ½ cup shortening
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Till you do the other preparations, let the oven heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a mixing bowl, sieve all-purpose flour and baking soda.
- In another bowl, whip softened butter, shortening, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla.
- Continue to whip, till a creamy mixture is formed.
- Then add the egg and whip again till well combined.

- 4 ½ cups whole wheat flour
- 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 eggs
- 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 packages instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Sift whole wheat flour and baking soda and keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whip butter, brown and white sugar together.
- Once they are well blended, add pudding mix to the mixture.
- Continue to mix, till all the ingredients are well combined.
- Now add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract to the mixture.
- After all the ingredients are well mixed, add sifted flour mixture and mix well to form a dough.
- Add chocolate chips to the mixture.
- Drop dollops of dough on non greased cookie sheet.
- Let the cookies bake till the rim become golden brown in color.
