So Hard To Say Goodbye

This is about a guy I liked who went into the marines and I am finally trying to let go…
Walking away can be so hard
But I know it has to be done
And it tears me up to say goodbye
To the boy I thought was the one
But I have to do some thinking, make a change
Pick myself up off the ground
I listened to every word you would say
And all you did was break me down
In this town things never seem to change
I need to get away from here
Somewhere different and far away
Where I see myself when I look in the mirror
