Snowy Drift

This is inspired by a dear friend who loves the outdoors in Minnesota. I'm a new writer, so I would love to hear any comments you may have.
An icy breeze gliding onward from East to West
Bestowing upon us just a glimpse of nature at its best

Pine trees cloaked in pearly white
One might say "It's love at first sight."

Glamorous ice crystals, descending from the heavens
It's no wonder He made them in seven

A snowy drift that knows no bounds
Flowing on celestial grounds

In a wintry kingdom, we shall be
We owe it to the one we cannot see

How long it will stay
I simply cannot say

Such a perfect snowy drift
Can only be His heavenly gift
