Snow White

SNOW...........................
It was not raining cats and dogs.
It started to drizzle in some parts.
Glasses and window panes were getting foggy.
Grass in the lawn and backyard was getting soggy.
Snow kits started moving out of storage den.
Snowing is certain but know not when?
Heater displaced air conditioner.
Thermal blankets were sought after.
Fire place was being replenished and getting ready.
Without the winter gloves fingers were unsteady.
The city was geared up to welcome snow!
First fall of the season will receive a wow!
No sooner will the roads and pathways be snowy white.
No less than six to eight feet will be snow mount’s height!
Day would be no longer bright and sunny.
Seen will not be pedestrians, many.
Sun and moon seem to no longer exist.
It is as though they are hidden in the mist.
Day’s length is eaten away by night.
This over fed night‘s sleeping hours goes beyond eight.
Cars and motors get immersed in snow.
Lack of clarity drives them slow.
Children hit each other with snow balls.
These Eskimos look cute in the season’s ‘overalls’.
At some point, too much snow gets on the crowd.
Their disgust and exasperation are heard aloud.
Looked forward to is arrival of spring !
Preparation for its reception is in full swing…!!!
