Snail
I wrote this because I am a shy person, that I have always been scared to be myself, cause I'm scared if people won't like me. I think there are a lot of people that can relate to this.
We both hide in our shells when we get scared of life.
I hope this is only temporary,
I want to break my shell and be myself.
I'm tired of being scared of the world,
Why can't I just be like other girls?
Most are funny, out going and not ashamed of who they are,
Or at least that's how it seems.
But maybe being a snail is the real me,
And when it's time,
I'll break my shell and be free.
