I see your smile.
Yet it's really a frown.

I hear your laugh.
Yet it's a cry out for help.

I see your wrist,
And the blood dripping down.

I know your story,
Yes I know the truth.

You feel unloved,
Unwanted and sad.

Sweet child of mine come here,
Feel comfort and care.

No longer will your smile be a frown.
No longer will your laugh be cry.
No longer will your wrist drip with blood.

Yes, sweet child of mine.
Your smile will be a smile.
Your laugh will be a laugh.
