Nikki's POV

"So this must be the Nikki that stole my boyfriend!" Liam's boyfriend laughed jokingly and pulled me in a hug as we arrived at his door. I was shocked.
He was so hot and he was hugging me! He smelled like Axe Body Spray and his hair too.

You could say I was momentarily in heaven.

"Don't strangle her, Nick!" Liam laughed and pulled me away from Nick. He led me down a long hallway and into a HUGE living room. I looked around in awe. His house was full of flat screens and bright colors.

The kitchen looked like it would belong in some sort of ice castle. I stood there with my mouth open while Liam and Nick laughed their heads off.

Nick made his way over to his big, see through white fridge and pulled out a soda. I gasped. There was a picture of him on the soda can. I turned to Liam who was also drinking one.

"Oh I didn't mention that Nick is a multi- billionaire? He owns Pepsi and once and awhile they put his face on the cans. " Liam said it like iit was nothing.

I smacked his arm.

"You could have mentioned that! I would have cleaned up a little!" Nick laughed.

"Don't worry about it Nikki. I don't usually wear these clothes on Saturdays," He pointed to his white Nikes, dark wash Levi jeans, and clean white tee shirt. "But I cleaned up just for you." I blushed. Liam put his arm around me and led me to the white couch in the middle of the room.

Nick followed. After everyone was seated, Liam turned to Nick.

"Mr. Copeland, Me and Miss Johnson are here on official business!" Nick and I laughed.

"And what might that business be, Mr. Tatum?" Nick said, smiling. I laughed and blushed at the same time. I knew what Liam was going to ask for.

"Well Nikki made a promise to a man that she'd give his wife the ultimate baby shower. I mean it's her fifth kid, why not give her a party to remember? We just need a little money."

I bowed my head, making sure my hair was covering my face. I felt really bad about borrowing money from someone I'd just meant.

"Why didn't you just say so?" Nick dug around in his back pocket and pulled out a thick, black wallet.

He pulled out a huge wad of cash and handed it to Liam.

"That's about 900,000 dollars. Just ask if you need more. Liam, your car is in the garage."

My mouth basically hit the floor. Liam waved his hand in front of my face to revive me.
I started babbling like crazy, trying to find the words to say thank you. Liam laughed and turned to Nick.

"That's Nikki talk for 'Thank You'"

He then grabbed my arm and led me to Nick's pimped out six car garage. Liam walked me down to a blood red corvette and opened the passenger side for me.

I gently slid onto the leather seats. I was still in shock. But I was sure of one thing.

I FREAKING LOVE NICK!

Austin's POV

"What are you thinking about, Lovely?" I asked Nikki as we walked towards her house.

"Just how much time wasted without you." She flashed me a flirtatious grin. I flashed one back.

"It was mostly my fault. If I hadn't made you hate me in the beginning we would have made out like that a loooong time ago." I told her.

"I didn't exactly hate you. I just strongly disliked you." She nudged me jokingly.

"But now you love me right babe?"

"Hmm maybe, If you can catch me." Nikki ran towards her emerging house.

I, who surprisingly was still in shape even after eating everyday at Greasy Harry's diner, caught up and lifted her up into my arms and we shared another round of kisses.

We finally came up for breath.

"So do you love me?" I asked again.

"Yeah, Austin. I love you." She said.

I thought about that day when Nikki told me she loved me as Mrs. Lenoy's face came closer to mine. Something flicked in my mind and my inner child emerged.

"You're so old! Eww!" I knew I sounded like a four-year old at the moment but I couldn't think of anything else as I bolted out of the car. I could hear Mrs. Lenoy yelling after me but I just kept on running towards the houses I saw Nikki by.

As I arrived I saw a guy walking down the driveway from his house. It wouldn't hurt to ask someone right? I approached him slowly and he looked up as I came closer. He looked so familiar.

I knew I had met him before.

"Well if it isn't Austin Angels!" The guy said, smiling. I finally recognized him.

"Nick Copeland? Dude, I haven't seen you in years!"

I shook his hand and smiled. I knew I had been here before. Nick threw the best house parties.

"Yeah it has been a long time!" He leaned against his expensive car, "So what brings you to Riverside?" He asked.

"You could say I'm trying to find a lost love." I laughed and so did he.

"Oh what's her name? I could help you look if you like." My heart started to beat excitedly.

If anyone could find someone it would be Nick.

"Nikki, Nikki Johnson." Nick's relaxed face turned into one of shock.

"Black hair? Pretty face?" I nodded yes.

"She was just here!" My eyes widened.

"Was she with anyone!?" I asked.

"Yeah, my boyfriend Liam. She met him on the bus." I suddenly felt really stupid. Nikki wasn't a slut.

She wasn't cheating on me. I should have remembered Nick was gay and that the guy Nikki was with was mostly likely gay too. Well didn't I screw up? Nick pulled out his cell and tried calling someone.

He soon gave up after that someone didn't pick up.

"Liam's not picking up. But they mentioned something about throwing someone a baby shower. I'm sure we'll find them wherever that party is."

I quickly fumbled through my pockets before coming upon the paper that had Ricardo Gonzalez's address. His wife was having the party.

I handed the paper to Nick who then jumped in his car and typed the address into the GPS. Nick looked up.

"You coming or not?" I laughed.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world!" I climbed in and smiled as his car shredded down the street.

Nikki's POV

"That should be it! I can't believe we spent all the money Nick gave us!"

Liam said as he unloaded his corvette of the hundreds of shopping bags. We were at the park across the street from Ricardo's house.

The party was to be held there and we were preparing. I smiled as Ricardo made his way across to the street to us.

His eyes widened as he saw the mountain of streamers, baby boy decorations, food, drinks, and other things needed for baby showers.

His eyes watered and he gave me a huge hug.

"You're an angel!" Ricardo told me. My heart swelled with pride and I patted his back.

"It wasn't just me" I led him to Liam, "He and his boyfriend helped."

Ricardo grabbed Liam's head and gave him a huge kiss on his forehead.

"Bless you!" He said to Liam. Liam smiled.

"Thank you, Sir. But I don't think we can do this whole decorating thing alone."

Liam looked around at the plain picnic tables.
"Don't you worry about that, Son!" Ricardo whistled loudly. I looked towards the house and out came TONS of people. It was a typical big Mexican family. I smiled, remembering the huge gatherings my family used to have like this.

The big group made their way over to the park and Liam and I were suddenly surrounded.

I looked at Ricardo and he smiled. Liam clapped.

"Let's do this thing, People!" Liam yelled. Everyone immediately grabbed decorations and started putting things up.

I smiled as Liam lifted a tiny boy to a tree and let him place an 'It's a Boy!' sign on it. I turned back to the food I was laying out and continued to work diligently. I felt happy.

I was helping someone and that felt good. Doing this had actually held my thoughts from going back to Austin.

Well until now that is. I sat down on a bench for a moment and laid my head on my hands.

I was supposed to being forgetting Austin by now. But look at me; I was moping when I was supposed to be preparing an awesome baby shower.

I sat there a little longer before I felt a small tap on my back. I turned to see a beautiful little girl who looked about four years old. She placed her small hand on mine.

"He's coming and things will get better." She said before smiling and running off. I didn't know what or who she meant but I felt...relieved for some reason.

Maybe things will get better. I got up continued to work with hope slowly growing through me.

Austin's POV

"1359 Butterfly way? Okay this should be it." Nick pulled up to a tiny house. I wasn't sure if this was the right house because there didn't seem to be any party going on.
I still wanted to look though. I climbed out of the car and made my way to the front door.

I knocked a few times but there was no answer. The hope filled joy I had been feeling was quickly replaced with disappointment.

I lowered my head and went back to Nick. He was outside the car now and was squinting at something in the direction of the park.

He turned to me.

"I don't know about you but that looks like a baby shower to me!" I looked and sure enough, there was a baby shower going on.

I quickly ran, grabbing Nick on my way, and made my way to the park. Nick slowed me down when we were a few yards from the party.

I looked at him confused.

"Hold on. I think it's a surprise party so wait until they surprise the mother to be!"

I could tell Nick was right when the party group began hiding behind trees and benches. The little paparazzi guy helped a pregnant woman waddle toward the hidden crowd.

As soon as they were close enough, the crowd yelled surprise! I scanned everyone faces as they emerged and I soon came across Nikki's beautiful one.

She was walking towards the pregnant woman and after a few exchanged words the lady gave her a huge hug. I could tell Nikki was happy she did this. I felt a sudden urge NOT to go show Nikki that I was here.

I mean she was so happy and I didn't want to ruin it. I looked once again at Nikki's face and walked back towards Nick's car.

Nick seemed to understand somehow and after texting something to someone, he made his way to the car too. He quickly turned on the car and drove away.

I looked at the fading park and I knew I had made a good choice for Nikki's sake.

To make her happy, she'd never have to see the face of Austin Angels again.
