• Blowtorch (serves heat source)
• A pipe
• An empty can
• Refractory clay

Method

1. Get hold of an empty can of measuring size 17½ oz. and a blowtorch.
2. Now, cut a hole in the side of the can.
3. Now take the pipe and cut out a piece of about 2'' long and put it through that cut hole in the can.
4. Use the refractory clay to pad the interiors of the can.
5. Use the clay to a size of ½'' thick all around the can leaving the opening of the pipe untouched.
6. Now heat the refractory clay padded can till it reaches a temperature between 200°F - 300°F with an increasing temperature of 60 - 70 degrees per hour.
7. The temperature factor doesn't end on the figure of 200 - 300, instead keep the can for 8 - 12 hours to gain a high temperature of about 900 degrees F - 1100 degrees F. This temperature is attained with a rate of 75 - 120 degrees per hour.
8. Once the refractory clay is heated to such a high temperature, finally place the refractory clay at this high temperature for whole 1 hour.
9. Allow it to cool down completely before you attempt to install the blowtorch in your furnace.
10. Once the refractory cools down, get hold of blowtorch and the tube that is coming out of the blowtorch attach it to the pipe in the can.
11. Make sure you avoid any sort of air holes in the blowtorch so that it doesn't form carbon monoxide.
