Slightly Demonic and Dangerously Evil [Chapter Three]
Electra's parents had a mysterious death. There were teeth marks in their throat, claw marks on their skin, and fangs in their mouths. They didn't have time to do more than leave a note for Electra telling her of what to do, and something about her seventeenth birthday. Now she needs to find a man who will help her save her 'kind'. But who knew he would be right around the corner, hooking up with her aunts daughter.
This chapters my particular favorite.

"How have you been?" Dimitry asked Electra as they drove through the dark, busy streets of down town Chicago. "I heard about your mom and dad. I’m so sorry." She put her hand on Electra’s knee and squeezed sympathetically.
"It was hard at first." Electra admitted glad to be able to talk to someone. "It was like my life just stopped. There would be no more, family birthday party’s. No more days where I would come home from school and my dad and I would bake his famous chocolate chip cookies. No more Thursday family movie nights. Life was just over, done. I was hallow, and totally alone. At least I thought I was until I found out I had an Aunt., an Aunt who my mother had a falling out with, but at least I wasn’t alone anymore." I wiped the tears from my eyes and Dimitry gave my knee another sympathetic squeeze. "But hey were not here to make me cry were here to go partying!" She smiled, real excitement going through her blood and making her heart pulse.
"We all love you." Dimitry reminded her. "And when you want to talk it all out I’ll always be here. I’m your friend. Never forget that."
never trust anyone the words played through her head.
"Thanks." SHe smiled up at her and it wasn’t fake, but Ishe still held her guard, not giving anything away.
"So Rick…any new girl friends lately?" She asked. "Whatever happened to that one girl…Cleo was it?" She turned around to smile at him. He somewhat grimaced. "What?" Electra asked looking at Mark.
"Ah…When Rick broke up with the chick she broke his nose." Mark gave a quiet laugh and smiled…intimately. That thing he’d done earlier by the car scared her. He’d just grabbed her and started kissing her, his hands moving entirely too close to her intimate areas.
"Bloody friggen hell." She said staring at Rick’s nose. "I mean I thought I saw a little bump but I couldn’t remember if it’d been there before…And I was to afraid to ask, thinking I might be insulting you." She smiled faintly.
"Very funny Electra." Rick said grudgingly. "Missed you." He sighed, his hand reaching out to grasp hers. "I’m so sorry about your parents." He squeezed tighter, and Electra remembered that he’d had the same thing happen to his dad, only not the same way.
"Missed you too. Thank you." She squeezed his hand, then let go.
"Were here." Dimitry announced, glancing out the window at the obnoxiously loud club. You could see the pulsing light flashing through the open door.
Red, blue, green, red, blue, green.
Dimitry parked the car in front of the club and handed the keys to the chafer and walking towards the entrance like she owned the place. Typical Dimitry, Electra thought. Queen bee right to the top.
Electra followed Dimitry’s movements, and got out of the car. She walked slowly to the entrance where Dimitry was waiting for them.
"IDs" the bouncer said, looking Electra up and down. "You can go through," He said to her not waiting for her ID. She walked through the bright red doors, and into a colorfully lit hallway. She began walking down it and felt a hand on her back. Turning she saw that Mark had come up behind her.
"Great place huh!?" He said over the pounding music, as they entered the center of the club. Lights pulsed, to the beat of the music while bodies meshed together, dancing to the rhythm.
"Yea!" she said.
"WHAT?" he asked.
"I’M GOING TO GO GET A DRINK!" She yelled at him, feeling awkward.
"WANT ME TO GO WITH YOU!?"
"NO!"
"WHAT?" he asked. Instead of answering him she shook her head no, and walked away.
"What can I get you?" The bartender asked when I reached the bar.
"Uh…" she said. "Just a coke for now." she told him, sitting down in one of the chairs while she watched him walk to the other end of the bar and converse with some people. When he came back to her he wasn’t holding a glass of Coke but a martini glass full of blood red liquid.
"It’s from the guy at the end of the bar." He said pointing towards a standing man with blonde shaggy hair and bright blue eyes. He looked at her, and she smiled at him in thanks, raising her glass as she did.
Taking a sip she sighed in bliss. The liquid was cool and sweet against her tongue, and tasted a little like chocolate.
"I thought you might like that." Someone said from behind her. She looked over her shoulder to see the man from the other end of the bar standing behind her. Up closer he looked even better than he did far away. His blonde hair fell around his face giving his cheeks a more angular look. His eyes were so blue it felt like you were looking into water. His black silk shirt made his skin look like white snow.
Then he smiled.
"Uh…" she stuttered. "Oh, yea…It’s great what is this?"
"I don’t know," He said shrugging. "The bar guy calls it ‘Blood lust’."
"Oh," She said taking another sip and closing her eyes as she did. When she opened them again he was smiling at her. "Like that stuff do you?"
"Yea, it’s great." She said taking another drink, and putting a hand to her forehead. All of a sudden she’d become very dizzy.
Oh, shit. What was in that drink?
"You wanna dance?" He asked her.
"Sure," She answered. Anything to get away from that drink. She let him take her hand and lead her out onto the dance floor. She didn’t pay much attention to where they were going through the crowd, because she could here pulses beating in her head. Smell this deep chocolaty smell all around her.
It smelled just like that drink. She vibrated with the pulses, floated on the smells. She dragged her body back and forth across the guys their hips locked, his arms around her waist, hers around his neck. Lights pulsed, music blared from the speakers, people jumped with their hands waving in the air.
Suddenly a black pain erupted throughout her body. She hissed in a breath, when she felt the man’s hands tighten on her body, and his teeth nip her ear. Really, really sharp teeth.
She stepped away from him suddenly, and tried to control the pain throughout her body.
"I’ll um…I’ll be right back." She told him. She looked for an exit sign, and then suddenly saw the large glowing sign, lit up with the word EXIT. She ran towards the door stumbling as she went. The pulses still beat in the air, making her feel starved, and that smell. God the smell was like heaven and she wanted to taste it.
She pushed the door open making it smack against the wall, hard. Pain erupted in her stomach, and at her back, and all through her body. She clenched her hands while tears poured down her cheeks, her teeth gritting together. She fell to the ground on her knees her whole body screaming in protest.
She screamed to the sky, the sound like an abomination. White hot pain erupted in her back, and she could feel her skin on her back ripping, the blood red liquid of her blood dripping down her back. She screamed out again and this time it was more of a roar. She threw her head back as two long jagged objects ripped out of her back and spread out behind her.
"What the fu--?" She began to say before she felt her bones pull in and then push out, causing her to scream again. She stared down at her hands, and instead of seeing her pale ivory skin, she saw opaque black, long sharp red nails protruded from her fingers. She reached a hand up to her face and touched her cheek. No more soft cheekbone, it was like a knife strutting straight out. She reached behind her and was about to touch her back when pain ripped through her again, she felt seven long jagged things rip out of her spinal cord like liquid fire.
"Ahh…"She roared again to the night sky, her head tilting back her fingers digging into the concrete, her nails splitting the ground open. She lowered her head back down and looked behind her and gasped. Two long black wings with points like daggers on them protruded form her back. Seven jagged points protruded from her back, starting small at the base of her neck, and growing larger at the base of her spine.
She closed her eyes and breathed in the Chicago night air. She heard the thump of peoples’ hearts that were at least forty miles away. She could smell their blood; hear the conversations that were going on in their heads. She sighed out of her mouth.
She heard the door pound open behind her.
"Electra," She heard her name whispered across the wind.
Derrick, she thought. But she wasn’t fearful for him didn’t feel pity for him being out here. He made her defenses go up, made her want to protect herself. She stood up, let her wings spread out behind her, lifted her arms, threw her head up to the sky and roared. Then she looked back at Daniel and saw that he was like her, but instead of the darkness he was light.
Bright white wings blew out behind him, their ends tipped in grey. His skin was a whitish, grey tinted with gold, his eyes so blue they made her want to scream. He was utterly gorgeous.
He wasn’t alone, four similar beings stood behind him.
"Electra," He whispered her name again, and she closed her eyes, and breathed in through her nose this time.
Her senses exploded.
"Electra," He said her name again, this time in reprehend.
When she opened her eyes again this time her mind was already working to form a plan. She shot up into the sky, like the speed of light, leaving the golden angels behind her.
She was hungry.
