Slightly Demonic and Dangerously Evil [Chapter Six]

Electra's parents had a mysterious death. There were teeth marks in their throat, claw marks on their skin, and fangs in their mouths. They didn't have time to do more than leave a note for Electra telling her of what to do, and something about her seventeenth birthday. Now she needs to find a man who will help her save her 'kind'. But who knew he would be right around the corner, hooking up with her aunts daughter.
Dimitry Marks walked down the hallway like she owned it. Ah, but that was why she did it, because she did own it. She owned every fucking building in this ‘Windy City’.

Humans disgusted her; they were foul loathsome things, which had the brain of a pea. She hissed out a breath as she caught scent of one. Eww, their scent sent shivers down her spine made her hackles rise. She had to concentrate on breathing through her mouth.

She hadn’t been able to give the signal. Damn Derrick Birmingham, why the hell did he always have to be where she was? She’d been behind the school, sending out the signal with her senses, when he’d come walking around the building. She’d had to stop because he would’ve detected her. Hell every Hybrid could have detected her. She hadn’t been secretive enough, she reminded herself. Well damn it, she was going to be secretive now.

She walked towards the darkened stalls of the bathroom, towards where the shadows lied, and waited. Five minutes later, shapes began to take form. Their whisper soft form slipping along the clean white tile towards her feet. There were at least twenty of them, and all were on their knees devoted to their master.

"Master," their leader said. "We did not hear a signal." He hissed his breath through his teeth. They didn’t really have a shape, Dimitry reminded herself as she tried to see their faces, they were just air and darkness. "Master," He said again. "What is it you want us to do?"

"I wish for you to begin." She said.
"Begin what?" The shadow asked.
"The world’s demise." She turned away from them and walked out of the bathroom. She headed back down the hallway, and out the doors, walking towards her car as calmly as can be.

It wasn’t until she’d started her car and pulled away that she began to hear the screams. She saw the buildings of beautiful Chicago split open, saw her followers rise up to conquer their place in the world.

The sun disappeared, the world turned dark.

The screams grew louder.
