Skunk Smell Removal

Typically people living in skunk infested areas, go through a lot of problem for removing odor. This problem is even magnified, if you have a pet dog. Getting Rid of Smell on Dogs

If it is too strong, odor removal can be a little tedious. For that, you can add some vinegar to this odor removal solution. This should be done while preparing the solution. The quantity of vinegar can vary from half a bottle to full bottle.

Apply the solution on the fur of the animal. See to it that the solution reaches the skin. Massage this solution for approximately ten minutes. Do take care that the solution should not go into the eyes of the dog, as it can be very painful.

Wait for at least ten minutes before you rinse the animal fur. Make sure that the solution is completely rinsed (meaning no bubbles). Towel the dog's fur to dry it.

If the pet still has some smell left on its fur then repeat the above mentioned steps. After the completion of all the above steps, there's a good degree of chance that your pet is left smelling like vinegar. In that case, use shampoos and conditioners.
