Skin Care Shopping Cheat Sheet

Buying skin care products can be a difficult experience. Why? Because there are many billing programs, product pitches, and slick marketing tactics. Here is how to be an educated consumer.
These days, it's not as easy as one would think to buy a simple skin care product. There are so many product lines, angles, and different pitches out there that can scare consumers away from making a purchase. Here is a quick cheat sheet you can reference as you shop around for products.

The first thing I suggest is you do not enter into any auto-ship programs. These programs are great for the marketing company to build long-term revenues, and if you have ever tried to return a product to a large company you know how hard this can be. Once product arrives and your credit card has been charged, it's near impossible to reverse the charges without suffering through many headaches. It's simply a process I like to avoid.

Also, it's important to know your ingredients well. Since skin care is such a large topic, it's hard for me to talk about the best ingredients on a big scale as there are so many products. However, I'll take eye cream as an example and break it down from that standpoint:

When looking for an eye cream, there are a couple ingredients that you need to look for. Not only do they work fantastic on their own but when used together they are a rare blend of anti aging miracle workers. The ingredients I am referencing are haloxyl and argirelene.

Haloxyl is the best ingredient on the planet right now to treat dark circles under the eyes. If you suffer from dark circles, and whether you own up to it or not, most people over age thirty do, you need an eye cream with haloxyl. It's backed by clinical studies, as is argirelene. Argirelene is a great ingredient for wrinkle reduction. It is said to paralyze the area around the eyes, including the soft skin that loses it's suppleness as we age. This effect actually works to relax the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles by leaps and bounds.

So now that you have an idea of some eye cream ingredients, you can do your own research and find out what ingredients work well in other anti aging skin care products. The second thing I would like to tell consumers is to read reviews online. If you are looking for a wrinkle cream, type in "wrinkle cream reviews" online and see what consumers say about products you are interested in. It's a great way to see what people say out there before committing your budget to a product or product line. This idea of sharing information is one that I really endorse, and you should use this to your advantage.

Go ahead and use this cheat sheet to your advantage as you look for skin care products.
