Ski Trip 6!

I hope you like it! :D
My heart started to beat faster. My palms got sweaty and I didn’t know what to say.
"I- I’ll be right down." I rushed around the condo to get some comfortable clothes on and raced downstairs to the lobby where I could see Trent inside, face red and sweaty from holding in the pain.
"Hey. I called as soon as I found out. Apparently, he was doing a 180 and put his hand down before he fell and snapped the bone. They’re casting him up now, he should be done in any minute." We sat on the couch and waited until a tired and drained-looking Trent wandered out into the lobby.
"Hey, man. How’s the arm?"
Trent lifted it up. "Heavy. They gave me some pain medication and it’s really making me sleepy. Is there any chance that we could go back home?"
"Yeah, man. Come on." Seth got in front of the pack, which left me behind with Trent.
"Oh, hey, Sam. I didn’t see you. Sorry, I’m like so delusional from those medications. How are you?"
"I’m fine. How are you? Are you okay? Mom’s going to flip."
"I’m- I don’t know right now. I mean, my wrist hurts like hell, I’m drugged up and I just- ugh, I don’t know. But, Sam, you can not tell mom. I’ll tell her when I think the time is right. I don’t want her to worry and cancel the trip and make us come home. Besides, I’m fine. I promise."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, c’mon, I’m fine. The doctor said keep the cast on for like 3 weeks tops. I didn’t break it that bad, I’m great, all right?" he looked at me. We were now standing outside the door to our room.
"Yeah, okay." As soon as Seth opened the door I saw Trent heading off to our room to take a nap, and I went out onto the back deck. Parvati and Danny still weren’t back yet.
I sat out there for a while, thinking about everything when I lost track of time. I ended up falling asleep.
When I woke up, I didn’t know what time it was but I was freezing. I sat up and realized that I was inside, covered with tons of blankets. Even with the blankets, I was still freezing.
"Hey. Stay under the blankets, don’t move." It was Seth.
"W-why?" I shivered.
"You stayed out on the porch for a really long time. You have a mild case of hypothermia. Here, come here." He laid down on the couch behind me and wrapped his arms around my body. "Oh my god, Sam, you’re freezing." he blew warm air down my neck and I shivered more. It got to be to the point where it was so cold that I started to cry.
"Oh, no, no. Sam, you’re fine. You’re going to be okay, all right?" Seth moved closer, but gently. "Danny, get her a cup of hot chocolate." It was then that I realized that Parvati was sitting in the armchair by the fire.
"Where’s Trent?"
"Right here." he stepped out behind the couch and sat on the arm. "Hey, you. How you feeling?"
"Cold." I admitted, snuggling up closer to Seth. This is what friends did, right? Keep each other warm? Or maybe not.
"Yeah, hypothermia can be really serious. It’s a good thing you’re just shivering. Are you like really tired, or disoriented?"
"I don’t think so." I said.
"Okay, good. How bout you come up to your bed and stay there so we can have the couch back?" He smiled. I knew he was joking, but my bed did sound good.
"Yeah." I threw the covers off of me and immediately I got cold again.
"No, no. Don’t do that. We need to get you upstairs without making you move around too much. Someone needs to carry you. I would, but-" he held out his wrist.
"Right. I’ll do it." Seth said. He got out from behind me, put one arm under my legs and I wrapped my hands around his neck. He set me down on my bed, but instead of going back downstairs, he laid next to me. "You know, you really scared me when Danny carried you into the house. I mean, your lips were blue, pale skin, you looked really sick."
"How do I look now?"
"Way better." he said, blushing. Wait- Seth was blushing?! Didn’t he have a girlfriend?
"Thanks. Did I really look that bad?"
"No, you looked great." he blushed again. Oh snap!
I smiled and tried to think of something to say. "I don’t wanna be a pain, but I never got that hot chocolate and it sounded good, can I get up and get some?"
"No, Trent said you shouldn’t move around a lot."
"And how does Trent know these things?"
"He mumbled something to me about taking a medical class, but I don’t know. We should listen to him though, he’s pretty smart."
"Yeah, he is."
"Anyway, hot cocoa, right. I’ll get it for ya." he smiled and left.
After 10 minutes, I was starting to get worried. But why? I wasn’t falling for him again, was I? No, of course not, Sam. He has a girlfriend! Then I decided something, as soon as I felt better I was going to find that guy again and take him out on a date. But for right now, I would stay under these covers and have Seth bring me hot chocolate.
