Ski Trip 4!

"We’re gonna be roomies, sis!" Trent smiled, giving me a side-hug.

"Great." I forced a smile and gazed at Seth as he passed by us with his suitcase. His muscles were flexed because of the heaviness of it, and I smiled for real.

"He’s takennnnn." Trent dragged out, carrying our suitcases to the room next to Danny and Parvati’s.

"I don’t like him. We’re just friends." I lied.

"Yeah. You keep telling yourself that, hon." I started to unpack when I heard a yell. It was Parvati.

I ran over to her room along with Trent, to find her on the ground.

"What is it?" she pointed her finger toward the vent. Trent and I glanced. There was a spider, hanging from the ceiling.

"Oh my god, Parfait." I smashed it, and picked it up with some tissue paper. "You’re so stupid." I laughed. She made a funny face at me, and I went back to unpacking.

About 2 o’ clock, I wandered into the living room which was amazing. There was a huge TV, along with a fireplace to cuddle up with after a day on the slopes. As far as furniture goes, there was a chair, and a couch that would fit three medium-sized people.

"Hey, do you plan on skiing today?" I turned around quickly to see Seth standing next to the couch.

"Uh, I don’t know. I haven’t planned to. Are you going to?"

"Yeah, I think I’m going to head out in a minute. Want to join me?" He looked hopeful, like he wanted me to say yes.

"Sure. Just let me do some stuff first. Like, get warmer clothes on. I’ll meet you out by the car in ten."

"All right. See you then." He smiled, and I raced upstairs. I threw on an extra lair on top and grabbed my hat. Our skis were still outside. We didn’t bother carrying them into the house. I raced downstairs and grabbed a energy bar before joining Seth in the front seat.

"I’m going to start out on the intermediate hill if you don’t mind. Just to warm up." I said. It had been about a year since I last had skis on, and I wanted to make sure that I still had it.

"All right. Well, I’ll be up if you need me." he joked. Even though we were going to different hills, we still rode the same ski lift. One just had to walk further to his hill.

We paid for our tickets and put our unnecessary gear into a rented locker. We then stood in line forever trying to get a lift chair.

"It’s really cold out." I obviously stated trying to make conversation.
