Ski Trip 15.!

I'm DONE! Don't ask for more cause this is the end! I hope you all enjoyed it and I hope to write another story soon! :]] Thanks for everyone who commented on it!
Kelsey?! What was she doing here? She shivered and stepped inside, shutting the door. She obviously had not seen me yet.
"Uh. Hi." I said, coming into the living room from the kitchen.
She jumped and screamed, turning around. Her face was red from crying. "You scared me. Who are you? Where’s Seth?"
"I’m Sam, Trent’s sister. Seth’s in the hospital. You must be Kelsey." I said, recognizing her voice from our brief phone conversation a couple days earlier.
"Duh, I should have gone there-"
"Babe? Are you okay?" I heard Shane’s voice call as he rushed down the stairs. "I heard someone-" he stopped to stare at Kelsey. "-scream. Is everyone okay?"
"Yeah, we’re fine. Uh, Shane, Kelsey, Seth’s girlfriend…" I trailed off hating myself for saying that she was his girlfriend and I was not.
"Oh, hey. I’m Shane, Sam’s boyfriend." They shook hands and Kelsey sat down on the couch while she told me everything. About how his parents had called and left her a voicemail explaining what had happened and how she got here as fast as she could. After her trauma story was done, Shane explained Seth’s condition and Kelsey looked relived to know he was okay.
"Can I go see him?"
"probably not a good idea. He’s probably asleep, and it’s past visiting hours. Trent and Seth’s parents should come home anytime now. Why don’t you sleep in Seth’s room? I’ll make up Parvati and Danny’s room for his parents to sleep in." Shane left to do that, leaving me and Kelsey there, alone.
"Well, I’m tired, I think I might head off to bed." she announced, heading toward the staircase. She didn’t bring a bag with her, nor did she return to her car to get one. That’s real smart.
"All right. I’ll be sure to wake you up in the morning if you’re not awake when he gets home."
"All right thanks, goodnight." she smiled as best as she could in this situation and headed off to bed. I did the same, climbing onto my bed and collapsing. My body felt like it weighed 200 pounds. I had taken a nap today, but I was still tired. The food must have done it.
"Hey, you. You okay?" Shane came in and laid next to me, bringing the covers up with him and wrapping his arms around me.
"Just tired." I said, moving closer to him.
"Me too. Let’s try and go to bed." And try I did not have to. Within the next 5 minutes, I was out. Not even waking up when Trent and Seth’s parents came home.

The smell of coffee at 9 a.m. finally dragged me out of my room. Shane and Trent were both gone, and everyone’s door was open upstairs, including Kelsey’s.
"There she is." Trent said, as I came into the living room. Seth turned around and flashed me a huge smile. I flashed one back. Kelsey looked jealous.
Shane was sitting on the couch next to Seth along with his mother. Trent was in the chair, resting his wrist on the arm rest. Kelsey was sitting on the footstool. I gathered that Seth’s dad was preparing breakfast.
"Well, this is a little pow-wow." I laughed, squeezing in between Shane and the arm rest.
"Yeah, Seth was just telling us about his car accident. So, why were you going so fast? You never said." Kelsey asked, leaning forward so that she was practically in Seth’s lap.
"Uh, I was in a hurry." he was lying. I could tell. His eyes went to the side of his head before he spoke. Only I knew why he was going so fast. He saw me and Shane kiss and it broke his heart.
"Oh, baby." Kelsey cooed, rubbing his stomach. I made a face at Shane and he laughed.
"I’m going to go see if your father needs help with the food." Seth’s mom excused herself, leaving only the kids.
"Why did you tell her that it was okay that we went home with her?" I immediately blurted out to Trent. "You didn’t even ask me. You volunteered me for something I didn’t want to do! I don’t want to go home and sit in the house! This was supposed to be our Winter Break!" I was practically screaming now. Seth and Shane were both trying to get me to stop but I didn’t. "I want to stay here with Shane, Trent! You- you just to like to ruin everything!" I stood up and started to run. I ran out of the house and down the street. I turned a sharp corner and kept going. I ran all the way to a gathering of trees before I stopped.
I sat down in the snow and cried. Not because we were leaving, but because someone else had Seth’s heart and I wanted it. Who was I kidding? I didn’t like Shane. I never had. He was a mere distraction until Seth realized the mistake that he made by letting me go. I was still in love with him.
I was full-out bawling now, and I’m sure I was a hot mess. When someone put their hand on my shoulder, I shrugged them off, but they came around and stood in front of me. Only it was not Shane, it was Seth.
"Hey." his soft eyes and they way he said ‘hey’ made me cry even more. "No, no, shhh….hey, c’mere. You’re fine, I promise." I stood up and let him envelope me in his arms.
"I’m sorry…."
"Don’t apologize. I can’t believe I was stupid enough to let you go this Summer, Sam. I love you." I pulled away from him and smiled. I hugged him even tighter and he groaned.
"I’m sorry."
"It’s okay. I know you love me too." I smiled and kissed him. In the distance, I could see Kelsey, Trent and Shane all running toward us, but I didn’t care. I had Seth now, and he was never leaving again.
