Ski Trip 10!

I know it's short! I'm sorry, I promise I'm working on it!
Oh my god! Was he really asking me out? Me? The one who can’t even manage to stay warm on a mountain?

"Yes!" I said, trying not to smile too much.

"Awesome." he kissed me on the cheek, and I blushed even though it was freezing outside.

We started to head back to the snowmobiles because Riley was "getting cold." Aw, poor thing. I had gotten hypothermia and I didn’t complain as much as her! So we went back with the same people that we came with and once again, Riley looked miserable because she was stuck with Kale.

I still couldn’t get over the fact that I had yes! I was being impulsive, I was- I don’t know. My heart was having problems lately as far as choosing one guy and sticking to him. I mean, Shane was nice, but I had known Seth forever, and what we had this Summer was good.

I was still thinking when the engine under me turned off. Shane took my helmet and all of the keys and turned them back in. It wasn’t dinner time yet, but I had not eaten lunch and I was getting really hungry. I told Shane I would call him later about tonight and started running back to the condo because I was freezing. I wasn’t watching where I was going and I slipped and fell. I could feel the blood running down my face, and my hand hurt really bad from where I had landed on it. I walked inside, trying to keep the blood out of my eyes on the way.

"Oh my god, what happened?" Someone asked. At first I thought it was Trent, but as I got closer I realized that it was Seth.

"Nothing, I’m fine." I lied, trying not to cry from the pain.

"No, you’re not. Sam, what happened?" And then they came. The waterworks. You would think that I was getting abused by the way I was crying, but my hand hurt so bad, I could barely move it, and I watched as the blood started to drip down onto my t-shirt.

He pulled me into a tight hug, pulled away and led me into the kitchen, promising to fix me up. He kept telling me that it would be okay, and that no one was going to even notice the cuts on my face but I knew they would.

I flinched as he put some ointment on it, and then he took some tape and wrapped up my hand. I couldn’t even wiggle my fingers, he wrapped it so tight. I was about to get down from the counter when he stopped me.

"Hey, don’t worry about what other people say about your cuts on your face. You’ll always be beautiful." he lifted me chin up and kissed my lightly just as Trent came in.

"What the hell are you two doing?!"
