Every year as the weather gets colder my thoughts turn to one of my favorite pastimes: skiing. I love to ski and am always looking for new and exciting places to ski. No matter where I go, no matter which ski resorts I have visited around the world, I have yet to find a better place to ski than the state of Colorado.
All over Colorado you can find ski resorts from Aspen to Breckenridge to Durango, the slopes rival all others. The beauty of going skiing in Colorado is that you can practically do it all year long. So, even during spring break and late summer and early fall you can go skiing.
There are all kinds of different level slopes that you can ski in Colorado. I tend to like the more difficult slopes since I have been skiing for over 20 years whereas some of my friends who go with me like to keep it simple. For beginners, many ski resorts will offer ski lessons to teach you the basics and help you keep safe on the slopes.
If you are thinking about going skiing in Colorado, but are unsure of where you want to go, the internet is a wealth of information. You can get information on snow fall, temperatures, snow predictions and which slopes are open. You can also research particular ski resorts in Colorado to see if they have they have the types of slopes best suited for your skill level.
The next time you are planning a ski vacation, I highly recommend going to Colorado. There are a large variety of resorts and slopes to choose from year round. Whether you are going for the first time or one hundredth time, there is a ski resort in Colorado waiting for you.
