Skeptics Need Not Apply
Skeptics haven’t changed much through the ages. They hinder knowledge and restrain truth. Eager to oppose facts, they still doubt the "possibility of real knowledge".
Skeptics. The word was first recorded back in 1587. Its origin however, can be further traced back to c.360-c.270 B.C.E. Coming from the Greek word skeptikos (pl. Skeptikoi "the Skeptics"); it means "members of an ancient Greek school that doubted the possibility of real knowledge". Imagine! People attending school to gain real or true knowledge and yet doubting the "realness" of the very knowledge they are receiving. Ridiculous really. Individuals thinking themselves to be wise actually became complete fools by choosing the complacency of ignorance over the advancements of mental activity and intelligence. How can one advance, when he or she willfully chooses to step backward?
Every now and again in my line of work, I find myself confronted with skepticism. Searching the Bible’s hidden code and analyzing Bible code matrices is not an easy task; nor can there be any room for doubt or hesitation. I present computerized decoded facts based on precise letter-by-letter equidistant sequences. Is it real? Yes. Is it based on knowledge? Yes. This presents a bit of a quandary for the skeptic because "real knowledge" is NOT a possibility.
Perplexities and uncertainties shape the minds of skeptics and it isn’t just "real knowledge" that they are suspicious of. Their cynicism spills over into every aspect of their lives. So much so, that it robs them of the ability to achieve and accomplish great things. The Savior proved this to us in Mark 11:23-24. It reads: "For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and has no doubt in his heart but believes that those things which he says will come to pass, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you receive, and you will have". Doubt devastates your potential to receive and it impedes the ideas of progress and precedence.
Look at Matthew 14 verses 27-31 and see what "DOUBT" did to Peter: "Be of great courage! It is I. Peter answered and said to Him, Teacher, if it is You, tell me to come to you on the water. So He said: Come. And when Peter came down out of the ship, he walked on the water. But when he perceived the strong wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, Teacher, save me! Immediately the Messiah reached out his hand and caught him, and said to him: O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
Peter had the opportunity to turn the "impossible" into the "possible". Walk on water??? Are you serious? Yes, the Messiah was very serious and doubt, or rather, skepticism caused Peter to fall. He would never realize what could’ve been. He would forever remember what was not to be and the failures that come with disbelief and dubieties.
Skeptics. You need not apply your doubt and complacency to the possibility of real knowledge. Real knowledge is here. Accept it. Believe in it. Embrace it and advance the possibilities of faith, hope and intelligence.
