Sirus Wolf - Chapter 6

Sirus and Fang are held captive (Enjoy!)
Fang was fully conscience now but he found himself unable to move. He couldn't so much as open an eyelid. All his senses seem to work perfectly, he could definitely feel the cold chair underneath him and he could even smell the metal surrounding him. But Fang was dangerously weak and his body was suffering greatly. Most likely do to the vast energy he had previously released in the attempt to save himself. Tapping into the bit of energy that he could muster, Fang amplified his human senses. He tasted blood in his mouth and felt the electricity pulsing around the room he was in. He also heard some humming and beeping, it was probably some kind of machinery to keep him immobilized. Interestingly enough Fang heard voices, he ignored the hums and beeps of the machines and zeroed in on the voices.

"..had him pinned to the ground he just...." James said.
"He just what James!?" Susan angrily replied.
"Just...threw me across the room...it was like he wasn't even human. His eyes were...burning and...and..." James continued. Breaking into a sweat as he remembered the shocking ordeal.
"He was surrounded by some sort of shield, it was incredible. He was glowing with energy and.." Bitsy quickly chipped in, stepping up from behind James.
"That's enough Bitsy, you may go now." Susan said dismissing her. Bitsy looked up at James, asking an unspoken question. James nodded in return. Bitsy glared at Susan on her way out. A few moments later they resumed...
"Your sure he wasn't just hiding it from you?" Susan asked, frustration clear in her eyes.
"Positive, I had the goggles on when I made out Thomas. I saw him and he wasn't any different ." James answered. Susan sighed.
"That thing almost killed me Susan! I don't care if it's your sons body, we need to kill it now!" James hissed.

"James relax, we can't just go and kill him. He is not like the rest of them." A deeper voice interjected.
"That's exactly why he needs to die." James replied.
"Don't you trust me James?" The voice asked. James stood silently glaring.
"I know what needs to be done here. Just do your part and leave the thinking to me." The deep voice added dismissively. James looked towards the shadows at the figure speaking to him.
"Fine, but I will do it if you don't." James snapped taking his leave.

Minutes ticked by before Fang heard anything else.

"Terra, how is he still alive? Did your device not work?" the voice asked, stepping out of the shadows
"Must you call me that MICHAEL?" Terra/Susan hissed.
"That is not my name, I see you truly do like this little masquerade. Why do you even fight to return?" Michael asked.
"I don't know why it didn't work, maybe because he still has his ability?...I will need to do more research. Besides these humans are weak maybe I just need more juice to kill one of us." Terra answered ignoring Michaels question. "They were normally intended to kill human spirits not ours." Terra added grilling Michael over.
"Either way we are almost out of time, the humans have been threatening to take care of the problem themselves." Michael said.

"What do you mean Eko?" Terra asked with a hint of fear in her voice.
"They want to detonate a small nuclear arm over the infected area. Their going to kill us all Terra, we need to find a way home now. Worst of all Haze has not been in further contact with us." Michael/Eko said.
"What? Are you sure? Did you wait by the meeting point?" Terra asked panic in her voice.
"Of course I have you fool..." Eko snapped.
"He used us and now has no need for us. He already thinks Fang is dead..." Eko stood still now facing the corridor that led to Fangs prison chamber.
"Haze wouldn't do that, we just have to wait for the extraction he promised." Terra said trying to convince herself.

Eko turned around and walked over to Terra. She seemed to be in a daze, gently rocking herself murmuring the same words over. Eko clenched his jaw, looking down on the pitiful creature who was once as strong as he was. Disgusted he raised his hand and landed a hard blow across her face. As blood dripped from her busted lip Terra found herself more shocked then hurt. Some strong feeling came over her and she couldn't resist him. Maybe it was the sight of the blood or the hateful look on Eko's now human face. Those dark eyes were so mysterious, so intimidating, she found him completely irresistible.

Eko looked at Terra and seeing the look on her face he knew what she wanted, what she was thinking. Eko wanted the human woman, her beautiful blond curls and her gorgeous green eyes. Eko wanted her so badly but it made him even more angry, for those were the human emotions he so dreaded. Eko slapped Terra again. "Snap out of it Terra, we have to get home or we will DIE here." Anger clear in his voice. Terra stepped away from him, showing her back. "Haze will come for us Eko." Terra growled.
"Open your eyes Terra! Why would he? He has what he wants. The 'Seer' is dead and he thinks Fang is DEAD! As far as he's concerned we have no way back." Eko reasoned.
"What about our MEMORIES Eko!? How will he explain that?" Terra replied.
"Who would he have to explain it to Terra? Huh? Answer me that. Besides he is SEER, S-E-E-R he is alpha and omega, he is the LAW Terra. He is the strongest person on Espir NO ONE will argue against him." Eko finished.

"Unless you have a solution, we will die here Terra. PLEASE I am begging you. What can we do?" Eko pressed on.
"...maybe..." Terra whispered, gathering her thoughts together.
"Maybe we can...harness what's left of Fang's spirit and use it to pass the barricades." Terra said nodding to herself.
"....What?" Eko asked raising his eyebrows.
"Eko there is no way we can get to Espir on our own. We have to be escorted but we can still live amongst the humans. We just have to fool their silly machines." Terra said.
"How long will that take?" Eko asked.
"How long do I have?" Terra answered
"....I can stall them for two hours but then we have to head for the barricades, it has to be ready by then." Eko said.

"So do it now." Eko added.
"What about the goggles James brought back?" Terra asked.
"What about them?" Eko replied.
"What will we do about them?" She said.
"Nothing Terra, we are out of TIME!" Eko hissed. Terra nodded and began calculations on her way towards the chamber that held her body's past and her soul's future.

Fang was reeling, not only Terra but Eko as well somehow they had both retained there memories. Worst of all Haze had been behind the whole plot and now that Fang knew, he was about to die. Eko was an even more heinous criminal then Terra, on Espir he was stronger than Fang. Eko had attempted to kill Seer and after bitterly failing Seer judged Eko himself which was rarely done. Haze was now in power but only because he had set Fang up. To Fang it all made sense and after all his struggle he would die in the hands of a murderer. Fang heard the door open and to his surprise his eyes slowly opened.

Sirus was completely up to speed, although he did not understand the whole conversation he heard or let alone knew how he heard it. He was sure of one thing and one thing only. This familiar face in front of him who loved and cared for him all of his life was not who she seemed. Something had invaded his mother and took over her mind and body. Sirus could barely remember the last time he hugged his mother, his real mother. To think he was living with an empty shell this whole time filled his heart with sadness. Looking at the woman now filled him with anger. Anger at this Terra person for killing his mother and stealing her body. For ruining his life and playing with his fathers. Sheer anger burned in his eyes as he looked on at the doll that entered the room he was confined in.

"I see you are awake Fang." Terra said closing the door behind her.
"I know you can't move or speak but I would you should know you will die now." Terra said dreamily. Sirus's eyes opened up wide with horror.
"I see you can manage a bit but that's not good enough. I don't know how you survived or how you banished Sirus again but there is no coming back from this." She continued speaking as she set up a metal like IV.

"At least you can die knowing that you saved me Fang. With the last of your strength I will escape and live amongst the humans. Your energy will definitely work, unlike Susan's who's soul was to weak. Funny how that works huh? She was strong when it came to her son but weak once she was removed from her body...." Terra continued going into great detail about how the woman had retaliated and then weakened greatly but Sirus was completely lost now. His mind was wondering back on when his mother had first seemed different. On those first subtle changes that barely left a dent and in his minds eye he saw them grow so vast so quickly. Sirus never put it together before but how could he. The situation was so unlikely, looking at the sad figure coming towards him: Sirus came to a decision. If it was to late to free Susan's soul he could at the very least release her body and rid the world of Terra's wickedness.

Holding the device in one hand Terra began walking towards Sirus's body. Thinking of her escape and her new problems ahead she did not register Sirus's fist balling into a fist. Holding it so much so his knuckles turn white until he finally let go. Terra was close now she reached for the metal rod...

Sirus drifted up from the chair almost angelically, his hand wrapped around his mothers throat and he began squeezing.

"I will not let you continue to defile my mother's body, I will personally expel you from this vessel." Sirus's eyes glowed with fury and Terra's in return showed fear and hate. Terra clawed at Sirus's face desperately trying her best to release the pressure. Terra's eyes pleaded with Sirus but he refused to give in. As he looked at his mothers beautiful blond hair and her dazzling green eyes tears fell from his eyes. Terra seeing his tears smiled as she released her last breath, happy until the very end knowing she caused someone else pain and misery. Sirus carefully let go of her throat and gently lowered the body to the floor. He kneeled next to it and placing his hand on his mothers he wept.

James and Bitsy stood behind the one way glass feeling a combination of fear and joy. Now that Susan was dead they could take the key card from her and escape without alerting anyone to their movements. James and Bitsy were the only ones in the entire facility who were not infected. Now they only had to deal with the most dangerous one of all. The boy wept over the lifeless body, without the goggles it seemed very sad indeed. Once you place them on your fear and wonder will strike your emotions cold. Unlike the red/yellow that covered the infected people the boy was normal. The only thing setting of alarms was the colors that swirled around him, all fighting one another trying to get his attention. A dominant blue emanated from his body separating the rest of the colors from coming to contact with the boy but most terrifying of all was the dark figure that stood behind the child. It stood there staring directly at James and Bitsy as if it knew they were there and it was smiling at them with red burning eyes.
I think the story is...
Awesome and easily understood.
Good but hard to comprehend.
Bad and in need of work.
Terriblle.
