Simple Workouts for Burning Belly Fat

So many people have expressed their desire to be fitter and healthier, and among their most common concerns is how to lose abdominal fat. Studies have shown that people with an accumulation of stubborn belly fat are more prone to conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and many more. So, how to lose tummy fat? Here are some basic abdominal exercises that you can do at home.

Crunches - Start by lying on the floor, with your legs bent at your knees, and feet together. Hands should be positioned at the sides of the head, and not on the nape or back of the head. One repetition begins as you raise your upper back a couple of inches off the floor, moving towards your knees. Slowly lower your upper back, without making your head touch the floor. You can do three sets of ten repetitions to help you lose abdominal fat.

Side Crunches - Another way to eliminate stubborn belly fat is to work on the obliques, or the ab muscles on your sides. As a variation of the previous exercise, side crunches are done with the knees pointing to either the left or the right side, instead of towards the ceiling. Working one side at a time, you also lift and lower your upper back the same way you would in a crunch. Do three sets of ten repetitions each for the left and right obliques.

There are tons of other ab workouts you can use to burn abdominal fat and increase your muscular strength. Familiarize yourself with the basics of getting rid of belly fat first. Do the routines daily, and maintain a good eating plan. And the next time someone asks you, "how to lose tummy fat?" you can be a great help by offering these tips.
