The Silent Hills

It is about war and Death.
The Silent Hills roll by as he walks,
he said he would be back.
And he returns wounded in Body and in soul.
He is a soldier.
He Promised to return home
to fulfill the promise
he lies in the deep black hills surrounded
by silence and darkness.
He thinks of the war.
It is to much for his heart
he regrets killing many men,
but was honored to have served his country
and he lies and dies,
yet his spirit now floats through the skies.
