SICK
A true adventure of terror. With a good twist at the end.
Sick.
My senses jumped, at the rapid knocks at the door. Leaping from my chair, I walked over to the door. My nerves were edging, so the walls moved around me. Dazzlingly I moved to the door. Opening the door, I was surprised by seeing no one at the door step. Peering around each corner trying, to find someone to accuse of a ding dong ditch, but the night was still as the sky. I closed the door, and saw something that made my blood run cold. A cat lying on the bed, coated in blood, and strangled by its own intestines. I dropped to my knees trying to hold back the sensation of throwing up. I tried to look away but was immobilized by the horrific sight. Finally getting enough courage to get to my knees, I started to shake. Slowly, I raised, but took a plunge in a blood bath. Screaming was all I could do, scream, scream, and scream. Then I just sat there crying, and rocking back and forth. Blood and tears dripping from my sulking face.
Bolting with courage, I started to crawl, leaving a trail. By this point I was starting to hallucinate, not crying but laughing from dire madness. The walls started to shake, and the room was spinning. I start to scream nonsense" come on kids follow the red brick want you? Just make sure you don't go near the witch, Ha-ha-ha-ha. No stop, I need to get a hold of reality. I was so close to the phone, but yet I couldn't be farther away. Still against all odds, I wasn't giving up. My chances were slim, but not impossible. The white porcelain floor was now stained by blood, and agony, and was fighting against me. With each movement I slid, and every time I tried to get to my feet I would fall. Yet I tried once more, and came pummeling back to the ground, but this was my last time for sure. With a crackling sound, a shard of bone came piercing through my skin. Pain coursed through my leg, and went shooting up my spine. Laying there crying was my only option so, I did it with agonizing peace. Slowly I started to drift away in dark cloud. The cloud came fast covering the normal reality. It spoke two words "lights out."
2: washout
I couldn't see past the cloud, but I could hear. Buzzing, not it is more like the sounds of waves crashing along the shore, but it didn't matter anymore. The air in which I floated got cold, and damp. Then I confirmed my thesis right. Now I was submerged in water, and was starting to worry. I couldn't move, I was frozen by fear, and immobilized by the cloud. Water consumed my head, and filled my lungs. I stayed sill gasping for air, not wishing, but demanding death. Then my eyes were blinded by light, and then I fell to the ground. My eyes had to adjust to the light, but then I saw were I was. I was in a room no bigger than a normal sized bedroom. It was made up of nothing but mirrors. The walls, the floor, but where was the door. Panicky I scanned the room, there was no door. How would I get out, or how would somebody get in to save me. I screamed, but was hurt by the hollow, ear wrenching echo.
I was scared, and I was tired, but now I completely baffled. The room was made from nothing, but mirrors. Yet what was reflected in the mirror was amazing. You could see at least about a mile of sea. Water crashed along the mirrors. Even the floor was ocean, but not ocean top. It reflected the endless abyss, and before it got dark all the way down you could also see fish. I heard a small cracking sound, followed by the sound of following water. I looked around the room, but couldn't find any cracks leaks. Then I started question myself, no it's not real. It's only some kind of technology or something. It can't really leak, because it's not a real body of water. Then thousands of cracks started popping up, and the room started to slowly fill with water. Screaming, not caring about the damned echo, trying to get out. Trying to get someone's attention, yet the truth was, I was doomed to die in here.
The glass broke, and shattered everywhere. Shards of glass shredded my skin to ribbons, blood coated the floor. Pain throbbed throughout my body, and trying to pull every piece of glass was impossible. I looked around the room, no it isn't a room anymore it's an ocean. I search around, but all I could see was endless water really didn't notice, but I was drifting away in the tide. They sun started to part, and the tide changed direction. I was in a stage in which I didn't care, I wasn't scared, worried, but I was mellow. The state didn't last long, because after a while my natural body endorphins kicked in and I just floated there day dreaming. The sky was dark and the moon cast dancing shadows across the water. Then I was starting to worry something was below the surface stalking me. Then I saw about ten yards away, a dorsal fin shot out the water, and came torpedoing towards me. It jumped out of the water, only a couple of feet between me, and the devastating beast. It skin was gray, with a white underbelly.
Its eyes were yellow search seekers, and its mouth was filled with sharp thrashing teeth. It went up several yards, and came circling back. Even though the water was concealed in shadows you could still see the beast baring its teeth. Then it disappeared under the water. Hiding in the endless abyss, and waiting to strike. It came up, and snatched my leg. The bone detached from my knee, and the force sent me flying back. The water turned dark red, and chunky. The shark came swimming towards me; it dived, and then came shooting out of the water. It was stopped in midair, something pierced through its stomach. Blood came spurting out rapidly, the shark was gasping for air. I screamed, which turned to laughter powered by mere insanity. The red water started to move rapidly, spinning in a powerful cyclone, engulfing the remains of the shark. All the water shot up into the air, leaving me sitting on the sandy bottom bleeding to death. I couldn't help it, but I was starting to black out, I was having a reunion with the dear cloud.
3: Failed
I woke up again, but this time I was back in my house. Just laying their bleeding to death on the floor. My skin was growing pale. My senses were slow, and troubled. My breathing was growing fast, and short. I knew I was going to be able to live through this, but I wanted to die now. I didn't have to live through this endless torment. I just want to rest in peace. I crawled over to bathroom, trying to ignore the call of pain, powering through with one thought. I was going to be home in a matter of minutes. I made it to the bathroom, so I just sat there crying figuring what I was going to do. At first I was planning to electrocute myself, but just couldn't find the being to do it. I knew what I had to do. I lifted the back off the toilet, and brought it down on the floor. It shattered into many pieces. Finding a large ragged piece was easy enough, but I was having trouble taking towards myself. Finding the strength I took the shard of porcelain, and jabbed it into my throat, blood came rushing out along with my life.
Watching as she was gasping for air, smothered in her own blood. I noted what was happening on my note pad. Then she stopped moving, she was gone. Shortly after my partner came in, and asked what happened I told him. We shared notes on what happened to our experiments, and confirmed our thesis. We clean the bloody mess." This experiment went horribly long. Just like the last. We can't give up." I took off my gloves, and grabbed something out of her pocket. "Jenson, mark this down with the notes. Her name is sandy parks. She was born on January 3 1993, her home town Philadelphia county, Pennsylvania." "Wait, she was born when." "Damn Jenson were slipping we killed an underage girl." "If the facility finds out were going to be executed. Burn the remains, and get another test subject. We'll keep trying, because these drugs can ether save mankind, or demolish it. Just know the worlds in our palm." "The test subjects ready." with a face conceded with madness I said" good, start recording."
