- ¾ pounds of margarine or melted butter.
- 3 green onions, chopped.

Make sure you de-vein and clean the shrimps. Preheat the broiler. Cut them into pieces, preferably butterfly style. Place the shrimps in a large-sized pan and then mix the green onions, butter, lemon juice, egg, garlic, breadcrumbs, hot sauce, seasoning salt and the salt and pepper. Now start pouring this mixture in spoonfuls over your shrimps. Broil the shrimps for about 5 minutes, or until they are well done.
Shrimp Scampi in White Wine
Another great shrimp scampi recipe that is just as tasty is the shrimp scampi in white wine.
Ingredients:
- Thin spaghetti noodles, 1 pound.
- 1/3-cup vegetable oil or olive oil.
- Shrimp, 2 pounds.
- 1-tablespoon garlic, chopped.
- ¼ tsp crushed peppers.
- ¼ cup green onions, chopped.
- 1-cup mushrooms, diced.
- White wine, ¼ cup.
- Butter, ¼ cup.
- Pepper and salt to taste.
To prepare this dish, you have to cook the pasta for about 5 minutes until it is done and then set it aside. In a skillet, heat a portion of oil. Once the oil is hot enough, sauté the shrimps in it for a couple of seconds. Now add the peppers, mushrooms, garlic and green onions. Cook this mixture for a minute or so. Now pour the wine and bring the mixture to a boil, cook it until it thickens slightly. Remove it from the heat and then add the butter, stir the butter till it dissolves. Now add the pasta and stir it gently.
This recipe is unique and wonderful and everyone, from the kids to the elderly, will simply love it.
Shrimp Scampi with Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients:
- 30 jumbo-sized shrimps.
- Olive oil, ¼ cup.
- Black salt and red pepper to taste.
- 3 garlic cloves, minced.
- 1/3 cup of chopped parsley.
- 1/3-cup breadcrumbs, seasoned.
- 8 tbsps of melted butter.
- White wine, 1/3 cup.
- A dash of Tabasco sauce.
- Cooked linguini.
- Grated Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese, ¼ cup.
Slit the shrimp in the middle down the back and right to the tail. De-vein it, clean it and then dry the shrimp. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in a square-baking dish. Pour the olive oil evenly over the layer of shrimp. Sprinkle a coat of salt and the peppers, garlic and parsley and the breadcrumbs.
Cover the dish and bake it in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Pour the Tabasco, wine and butter evenly over the shrimps. Keep the dish uncovered while you bake it for 5 minutes until it is well done. However, it should not be overcooked otherwise the shrimp will toughen. Serve with grated cheese over cooked linguine.
Finding the perfect shrimp scampi recipes is just a matter of taste. You can try any number of spices and ingredients when making your own scampi. Usually, shrimp scampi is more towards the spicy side, and if you like it like this, then try out items like salsa for a unique taste.
