DAMNIT! How am I going to tell Nate? He'll probably leave me. We're both the idiots. My whole Life is ruined. Here go the stupid tears

What the hell did I do? I should have been thinking. Damn. My whole life is ruined. I'm not ready for this. I wish this wasn't happening. How could this be happening?

"Mark, broooooooo, what am I gonna do, man, this is the second time I got a pregnancy scare. The 1st time with bunny, she wasn't pregnant, but now I know for sure."
"WHAT? You too. BROOOO NO! Me and Bry goin through the same thing. Last night, everything happened so fast, and it felt too good to stop and think. We made a stupid ass mistake and didn't use a Trojan. We really fucked up! DAMN!"

"Man, I got a letter in the mail today...look at this shit" mark said
I read it; it was a letter from the dean at Georgia State University. It said:
1 Georgia state university has decided that you are the perfect student to represent our school. Not only are you academically up to par, but your history in Football has served you well also. We are offering you a full academic scholarship. And we look forward to seeing you in the fall after your senior leveled high school graduation-
"Damn Mark, I got a letter from here too. They offered me a football scholarship. I also got a letter from NYU, and North Carolina State University, They all want to recruit me for football man, and I'm about to be a damn father."
"I only applied to GSU; I didn't apply anywhere else, Bry applied here too. A guy came to recruit her basically, because she has the highest G.P.A and test scores in our school. She is a good tennis player, and she does a lot of community service. She is the leader of several organizations at our school. And she was freshman and sophomore class president. They want her to be there. We could go to college together." Mark said.
"Bro, with this situation we got caught up in, I don't think we'll be going to college until after our kids are damn near grown" I said
He just gave me a disappointed look. He knew I was right.

I sat in my house. Mark called me every 20 minutes to check on me, and Lex, which was staying with me, I didn't know what to do about this. How was I going to tell my mom?
We were watching TV and eating junk food. We both took first responses, and they came out positive. I knew I was pregnant, Alexis knew she was pregnant.

Then a commercial came on that caught both of our attentions. The PLAN B: Emergency Contraception Commercial. All hope wasn't loss. Then they said you must be 17 years or older to purchase. Lex and I were still 16. How would we do this?

I called my sister; she was 19, my step sister for about 12 years now.
"Melissa?"
"Yea Bry, what's Up" she said in a bubbly voice.
"Lissy, I'm- I'm uh- I'm pregnant"

"Me and my friend Alexis were pregnant" I said.

"NO, NO, of course not, we both made dumb mistakes with our boyfriends, and now, we took first responses, and all four of them said positive." I said

I walked into a pharmacy with Bry and her sister Melissa. I didn't know Melissa was so gorgeous. I had never met Bry's older sister. If I didn't know they were step sisters I would think they were related since they resembled each other. Melissa was a 19 year old freshman in college. She had long deep dark red curly hair, and a coke bottle frame. She had forest green eyes, and it was accentuated with eyeliner and mascara. She was Cuban, with a very light tan. Just tan enough so she wouldn't look pail.
I had met Bry's Dad, and her other baby brothers, and her other baby sister. She had twin brothers named Alexander, and Jeremiah. They were fraternal. They were African-American and Cuban, and her little sister Angelise was the same.
"Okay, girls, I'll get the plan B pills for you, but you have to take them as soon as we get home okay"
"Yea lissy we know" Bry said
"Okay good, now when are you guys' next period?"
"Mine is in two days" I said
"Yea, mine is in four" Bry said.
"Okay, if this works, you'll get your period, and if not, I'm sorry but I did all I could do, next time be responsible"
"WE KNOOOOOW!" we said in a dragged tone

I woke up, and went to the bathroom, I looked down, and got so excited, I called Bry.
It rang four times before she finally picked up.
"BRY! BRY! BRY!"
"WHAT LEX!" she said in a cranky mood
"I GOT MY PERIOD! I GOT MY PERIOD! I'M NOT PREGNANT! THE PILL WORKED!"
"IT DID. YAAAYYY LEX I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!"
"Yea, now all you have to do is wait two more days, and yours will be here" she said
"I know! I can't wait. Now call Nate, and tell your bro too"
"I AM" I screamed. And then Bry hung up after saying bye.

I got a call from bunny, and she screamed at me through the phone
"WHAT!" I yelled back, I was tired, and she woke me up, I was cranky, but I didn't mean to yell

I woke up, and I had to pee so bad. Disappointment washed over me. I went to the bathroom, and I still wasn't on my period.

The same routine the past two days, Nothing. I still didn't get my period. How could the pill work for lex, and not for me?

I was on the verge of tears. I couldn't believe my period was five days late. I was absolutely sure, that mark was a father, and I was a mommy. Mark called me.

Then he hung up. I felt bad for bluffing about the abortion thing. But I had to. He didn't need to throw away his future.
(The week after)
I woke up that morning, feeling like crap. My stomach hurt, I had a headache, and I was so hungry from puking up my chicken from the other night.
I went to use the bathroom, and noticed. MY PERIOD.
I was so confused. How could I get my period after so much time? It's about two weeks late. It's never been this late.
I called Lex.
"LEX!!!!!!!!"
"WHAT BRY, I'M SLEEPY!" she said in a whiny tone
"MY PERIOD!!! ITS HERE! I'M NOT PREGNANT EITHER!"
"What...ho- how, it's been two weeks" she said confused.
"I don't know! I have to tell mark. Don't say anything to him. I'm coming over!"
I hurriedly took a shower, and threw on some white Nike air force high tops and some black sweatpants, and a short-cute belly revealing white v-neck.
I put on diamond studs and blow dried my hair, and parted it so more was on 1 side than the other.
I ran to my car, and drove to mark's New job, that he had been working at to start saving up. I never once guessed why my abs were still fully intact these entire 2.5 weeks. Wasn't I supposed to have a baby bump by now?
I finally got to best buy, and asked his boss Justin where he was. He told me he was at the register.
I ran to the register,
"MARK!!! MARK!!! MARK!!!"
"YEA BABY WHAT"S WRONG!" he asked
"I really need to talk to you, it's important"
"What is it?" he asked again
"In private... just five minutes" I begged, and gave him puppy dog eyes.

He didn't respond, he just grabbed me in the tightest hug, and we jumped up and down, we notice a couple of people passed us, so we stopped, it was kind of embarrassing.
From that point on. Things were better. We could both go to college, and didn't have the responsibility of anyone's life, but our own

Me, Bry, Nate, and Alexis had the craziest summer ever. I couldn't believe we had that stupid pregnancy scare. But everything was right. Bry and I had been going a year and a half strong. We seldom argued, and we always use protection now. We never made the stupid mistake again.
The first day of school was crazy. We had a food fight in the cafeteria. Someone cut off the generator. And the whole school accomplished our long life dream of playing hide and go seek in the school.

This is why I love her. She's so poetic, and what she says makes me love her even more. I can't wait to propose to her after college

"So you think our baby is a waste?" he asked angrily
"No, but I still don't think you should put your life on hold baby, promise me you'll go" I demanded
"
Bry, I'm not gonna leave my baby"
"It's not leaving the baby, you'll be here a whole year, just please, go" I said
"I'm not gonna do-"
"MARK, PROMISE ME YOU'LL GO TO COLLEGE. I SWEAR, IF YOU DON'T, I'LL RUN AWAY AND GET AN ABORTION!"
"I'll go" he said
"Promise" I asked
"YES! I'll GO TO FUCKIN COLLEGE OKAY!"
Then he hung up. I felt bad for bluffing about the abortion thing. But I had to. He didn't need to throw away his future.
(The week after)
I woke up that morning, feeling like crap. My stomach hurt, I had a headache, and I was so hungry from puking up my chicken from the other night.
I went to use the bathroom, and noticed. MY PERIOD.
I was so confused. How could I get my period after so much time? It's about two weeks late. It's never been this late.
I called Lex.
"LEX!!!!!!!!"
"WHAT BRY, I'M SLEEPY!" she said in a whiny tone
"MY PERIOD!!! ITS HERE! I'M NOT PREGNANT EITHER!"
"What...ho- how, it's been two weeks" she said confused.
"I don't know! I have to tell mark. Don't say anything to him. I'm coming over!"
I hurriedly took a shower, and threw on some white Nike air force high tops and some black sweatpants, and a short-cute belly revealing white v-neck.
I put on diamond studs and blow dried my hair, and parted it so more was on 1 side than the other.
I ran to my car, and drove to mark's New job, that he had been working at to start saving up. I never once guessed why my abs were still fully intact these entire 2.5 weeks. Wasn't I supposed to have a baby bump by now?
I finally got to best buy, and asked his boss Justin where he was. He told me he was at the register.
I ran to the register,
"MARK!!! MARK!!! MARK!!!"
"YEA BABY WHAT"S WRONG!" he asked
"I really need to talk to you, it's important"
"What is it?" he asked again
"In private... just five minutes" I begged, and gave him puppy dog eyes.
"NOOOO, please don't do that, okay okay, and come on" he said. My puppy dog eyes always make him weak
"What is so important that you had to bring out the puppies" he asked.
"My period came today!" I said.
"WHAT!?" he asked as if he needed reassurance
"MY PERIOD! I'M NOT PREGNANT!!" I said
He didn't respond, he just grabbed me in the tightest hug, and we jumped up and down, we notice a couple of people passed us, so we stopped, it was kind of embarrassing.
From that point on. Things were better. We could both go to college, and didn't have the responsibility of anyone's life, but our own
(SENIOR/JUNIOR YEAR)--
Mark's SOS
Me, Bry, Nate, and Alexis had the craziest summer ever. I couldn't believe we had that stupid pregnancy scare. But everything was right. Bry and I had been going a year and a half strong. We seldom argued, and we always use protection now. We never made the stupid mistake again.
The first day of school was crazy. We had a food fight in the cafeteria. Someone cut off the generator. And the whole school accomplished our long life dream of playing hide and go seek in the school.
I ran down the hall, there were 10 people who were it. I ran into a classroom, and was pulled into a closet, and kissed by lips that tasted like sugar cookies.
I panicked, wondering who the hell was kissing me, until I realized the familiar feel of the lips. It was my baby.
"Hey babe" she said
"Hey Bry, what's up" I said
"Nothing, just trying to keep from being found." She said
"Me too, I almost pushed you off me until I realized it was you" I said.
"Hahahaha, I know right"

"Bry, I love you" I said
"You know I love you... with all my heart, soul, mind, spirit, body etcetera" she joked.
"You know I would do anything for you ... I'd die for you"
She turned to me, and gave me this crazy look.
"Oh really?" she said
"Yea, of course... would you die for me.?"
"Hmmmm.... NO!" she said
I was surprised; damn I didn't know she could be so cold.
"Don't look like that... hear me out" she said
"I am" I answered
"Saying that you would die for me shows me that you really love me. And that made me more sure that I already was"
"Mmmm hmm...continue" I said.
"So, would you jump in front of a train for me, or take a bullet for me" she asked
"Yes of course" I said
"Okay, well doing that, would hurt me... More than you'd ever know. So If I die for you, it would hurt you just as much as it would if you were to die for me" she said
"It's like... I get what you saying, but I'm still confused" I said.
"Basically what I'm saying is...? If you jump in front of that train, I'd jump in front of the next one, and if you take that bullet, I'd tell the shooter to take another shot, because I love you, and If you go then we go together. No I wouldn't die for you mark... I'd die with you!" she said
This is why I love her. She's so poetic, and what she says makes me love her even more. I can't wait to propose to her after college
Bry's SOS
As I sat down in marks car with him, I looked down at my necklace that mark gave me a while back. Just like I promised. I never took it off. I looked at it on the back and read what it said: 'Mark and Bry Eternal Love'
I believed every word, our love was eternal. I would have never thought, that first kiss on the bed, that night in his room, my first kiss, would lead to such happiness. When we first got together, all I could think was
'Should I, or Shouldn't I, be with him. Is this wrong, and is this something I'm ready for. But now, when I read my necklace, look at his face, when he holds me, and when we make love, when he tells me he loves me. When I look into his beautiful gray eyes, and when he kisses me...
I know that this is the way things should be. Me and Mark.
