Mark's SOS (continuation)

When me and mike arrived to Freeze. I calmed myself down in the car. I didn't want to make a big scene, and make Bry hate me forever. Me and Bry have only been dating for 2weeks, and 1 out of those 2 weeks, she spent it with that josh asshole. Who was stealing her away from me. I hope he had not succeeded.

Mike said "ard, mark, I may walk in first okay, and then you, so you can calm down"
"okay, good idea"

Mike walked in the store, and 2minutes later, I was behind. I sat and watched what I really didn't want to see, his arms around her. It felt like someone had stabbed me in the chest.

Bry's SOS

Josh came up behind me while I was watching someone play madden. He snaked his arms around my waist, and I instantly got defensive. It didn't feel right. His arms weren't marks arms. So I spun around so fast and I was facing him.
"Whoa, buddy, your getting a bit frisky there" I joked.
Then he pulled me closer to him, and our faces were centimeters apart.
I knew he was going to kiss me, and I didn't want that. So I pushed him away, but he didn't let go
"Bry, it's okay, you don't have to hide with me, we can be together, and instead of you kissing me in a dark auditorium, you can kiss me in public, in a bright ice cream shop" he said.

I instantly got so ANGRY. "are you serious right now josh, kiss you....KISS YOU? WHY ON EARTH WOULD I DO THAT? HUH?"
"I-I-I- BUT when we were on vacation this week-"
"what, you actually think I-"

I stopped mid sentence, DAMNIT, THAT'S WHY MARK WAS ACTING WEIRD THIS WEEK. JOSH WAS TRYING TO STEAL ME AWAY FROM HIM.
"I have a boyfriend..look josh, I'm sorry but, the way I feel about him, is not the way I feel about you, its different, your my friend. but nothing more nothing less" I said calmly
His face looked like I had socked him in the stomach. I knew I really hurt him. But I didn't want to be with him, and I had to make that as clear as possible

Mark's SOS

Bry played josh....HARD. When I heard her say those things, I instantly felt better. She wanted to be with me, not him, and I was so happy.
Josh's face looked so surprised, and hurt. He just was about to walk out of freeze. Then he looked up and saw me.
"I'm glad that you tried to take her away, because now I know, that I'm the one she truly wants" I said.

He looked at me in disgust, or hatred, or envy most likely, and continued his walk out of the store. I looked up to see Bry, and she was looking at me. She was smiling, but there were tears spewing down her face. So I walked over to her, "you wanna get out of here so we can talk?" I whispered to her

her reaction was still the same, she shuddered and bit her lip.
"Sorry" I said.
We walked out of the store, and mike followed, I dropped him off home.
We pulled out of mikes drive way, and I drove her to the park. We stopped and I just stared at her.
"Come on" I said.

I walked around to her door and opened it, she got out, and gazed into my eyes. she looked depressed. I went to my trunk, and grabbed 2 blankets
Then I led her over to the grass area, where all the couples were sitting and staring at the stars. "hmmmm too many people, lets go over there" I pointed to a spot, farther away from the millions of people. It was a deserted spot. We ran to it, lay the blankets down, and I took a seat. She just continued to stand, I patted the spot next to me, telling her to sit beside me.

When she didn't sit, I grabbed her and pulled her down, "mark, what are you, aaaahhh" she screamed. then we both laughed together.
"Bry, I really really missed you this week" I admitted
"You shouldn't of" she replied
"What, why wouldn't I miss you?" I asked confused
"Because, I was horrible to you, when you tried to tell me what was going on with you and josh, I didn't listen, then when you called me to tell me I didn't listen, and when you texted me I didn't listen, I'm sorry, and I swear, I will never not listen to what you have to say, ever again... Do you forgive me?" she asked

"Bry...I wasn't angry that you didn't listen, I was disappointed, and scared as hell, this whole week, I was in complete distress, I was going crazy while you were over there" I said
"why?" she asked
"Because, when Josh said that he was going to take you away from me, I believed him, because of how you act towards him, I know that you care for him, and that he means a lot to you, I know that he was your friend before I was, and it seemed that you two would have worked together."
I looked down, knowing that all of my words were true.
"You would have been better off with josh than with me. If you were with him, y'all wouldn't have to hide. Or kiss each other when people weren't looking. He would be a true boyfriend, he could show you off, and do nice things for you publicly. He could tell you your gorgeous in front of everybody, without things being weird, and he could walk and hold your Hand, or hug your waist, without it being a problem."

Bry gave me this look and said

"Mark, I'd rather kiss you in the dark, than kiss him in the light, I'd rather have you hold my hand when people aren't around, than to feel his hands around my waist when everyone was looking. I'd rather hear you call me gorgeous behind closed doors, than to hear him scream it off a- off a.... MOUNTAIN TOP. I'd rather be with you...hidden, then let him show me off to the most important people in America. Its you, that I want to be with. If I have to hide what I have with you forever, I'd rather our relationship stay unknown, then to be with someone else."

Wow, I didn't know she felt that way, It felt good to hear it. I know now that she wanted to be with me, just as much as I wanted her, we were together, despite everything.

Bry's SOS

Mark and I have been together for a month now. He is the best. I really care about him. Nothing else in life is better.

My mom knows about him, she met him, and instantly thought he was right for me. He also met my dad, and he loved him two.
His parents also know about us, but being Alexis's best friend, they LOVED me, and said that they're happy that me and mark are together. They promised not to say anything to Alexis.

This was mark's night with my mother......

"Mark, your seriously, not one bit nervous, about meeting my mom" I asked
"No, but I may be nervous as hell about meeting your dad" he replied
"HAAAA that's what you don't need to worry about" I said

"What do you mean?" he asked

"Ma mom, she's gonna grill you, she's like the father in this situation, she's gonna ask you MILLIONS of questions, and she's going to threaten your life. That's the whole reason why your meeting her first, so you could get it over with, and be more calm when you meet my dad."

My parents aren't together, they've been apart since I was 8 years old. But I loved them both, they're the best.

Mark's face was priceless, he looked frightened, "gorgeous, I don't know if I'm up for this anymore" he joked.
I just pulled him out of his room, and we went outside to his car.

When we arrived at my house, he sat in the car, preparing himself. Parents weren't really his thing, he'd never been with a girl he truly cared about enough to meet her parents. Or stayed with her long enough. We walked up to my step, and he looked nervous. So I gave him some pointers

"Mark look, if you look nervous, she'll be on your case harder, you have to answer her questions with confidence. Oh, and whatever you do, DO NOT KISS ME not even on the cheek, in front of my mom, and step dad. okay, that will hurt you even more. DO NOT call my mom ma'am, call her Mrs. she doesn't like to be called ma'am because she's only 35. Okay, but other than that, everything will be fine."

his faced slightly calmed, but he still looked scared.
I opened my door with my key, and my mom opened the door. "hey Bry, this must be mark?"
"Yupp, this is mark momma" I said
"Hello Mrs.-?"
"No sweetheart, you can just call me Symone, Mrs is a bit formal, don't you think?"
"Yes ma'-i mean symone" he said nervously, my mom walked away, and I nudged his shoulder.
"No nerves mark" I demanded
"Sorry"he said
We walked into the kitchen and sat, my mom made spaghetti! I was so happy. Dinner was delicious, I ate 2 plates full of food. During dinner, my mom didn't grill mark, but the night wasn't over yet.
I volunteered to wash dishes.
"Oh bry I'll help you" he said
"Oh no, no need, she knows how to wash dishes, you can come, sit and talk to me" my mom said.
I KNEW IT! she's about to ask him a million questions, GOD I felt sorry for him.

"So mark, how long have you been with my daughter?" she asked
"About a month now" he replied
"Hmmm, so, I see you drive, how old are you?"
"I'll be 18 January 10th"
"Oh okay, well, bry is 15, she turns 16 the 16th of January, don't you think you're a bit old for my daughter"
"No ma'- I mean, well, umm" he stuttered
"It's a yes or no question sweetheart" my mom said.
"No, I don't" he replied
"Oh so you think it's okay for a grown man to date a teenager?" my mom said

Oh my gosh, I was about to step in, but I knew she was just messing with him.
"No, its only a two year difference, she turns 16 6days after I turn 18" he said
"Good answer, well, do you plan on being with her after you leave high school, and go to college, which btw are you actually going to college?"
"Yes I do, Look, ms symone, I like your daughter a lot, I care about her, I've liked her since the first day I had a chance to talk to her, I care about your daughter, and I almost lost her when we first started going out, and I don't plan on that ever happening again, even when I am in college" I said

"Well, you say that now but there will be so much temptation when you in college. walking around, what are you going to do then?" my mom asked
"There's temptation around me now, but none of them more beautiful then she is, there is no other girl on my mind." he replied

I was so proud of him, he answered every question respectfully, AND sweetly

"Okay, well in college there will be women, not girls, their bodies are fully developed" my mom said
"Yea, and so is bry's' he answered.

OH MY GOSH, HE JUST REVEALED TO MY MOM THAT HE LOOKS AT MY BODY. I looked at my moms face, she was shocked, she hadn't expected that answer. I thought she was about to kill him, so I stepped in

"Okay mark, uh, lets go, I think this would be a good time to leave" I demanded
"Alright" he said.

"Uh, see you later mom, I'm staying at kim's house tonight, my clothes are already there, and I'll call you to let you know I'm okay, bye" I said trying to hurry before she could say anything else.

"Bry wait, I wanna talk to you real quick baby" mom said.
I just stared at her, she told mark "it's okay, she'll be out in a few"
"Okay, umm goodnight, I had a great time" he said

Mark closed the door, and waited in the car

"Yes mommy?" I asked scared for marks life

"I really like that boy, he seems sincere, and he really likes you, and he's a bit of a smart ass when you start getting on his case, and that's what I like about him most, he's sweet, he's a keeper." mom said.

I just smiled, hugged her, and said goodbye, then I left to go get in the car. When I opened the door, and sat down, mark was looking at me, wondering if I were gonna tell him what happened. So I said nothing, just to tease him. "Yo, are you gonna tell me?" he asked.

"Okay, I'll give you a clue, but first you have to drive around the block, and park in a dark spot" I said.
"Huh? what, oh my gosh, please no, don't kill me, I'm sorry for whatever I did" he joked
"Hahahahah no, I'm not gonna kill you, just do it" I said
"Damn, I like it when you boss me around' he said
I burst into laughter, he was such a jokester. We pulled up around the corner, It was dark outside, so he just pulled up by a tree.

"Okay, are you ready for your answer?"i asked
"Yea, did your mom like me or not?" he asked
I unbuckled my seat belt, and climbed over to the drivers side, and straddled his lap. I ran my fingers through his loose unbraided hair. Then I kissed him, and he stopped me after only a minute and said "DAMN, ya mom didn't like me huh?"
"HUH WHAT, what do you mean, I kissed you, which means yes, hello"
"I know but the way you kissed me made me think she didn't like me" he replied
"And how did I kiss you" I said
"Well, it didn't have enough oomph, it wasn't hard enough, you could've done way better" he insulted, but he was joking.
"Oh really?, so show me, how I should have done it" I teased

He leaned his seat ALL THE WAY back, and suddenly in about less than 3 seconds, he flipped me under him. Then, I didn't even get to inhale when he kissed me, my body was like putty in his arms. I couldn't even process how I felt when he kissed me. My mind went blank. No thoughts, It didn't even matter that I couldn't breathe. If this was the way I would die, I surely submit to it.

"It was supposed to be like that" he said
I couldn't talk, every moment with him made me happy. I'm gonna miss him when he graduates next year.
