Heyy all!!! I am still writing "Napa Valley" but I found some old stories I wrote when I was little and they are so funny so I thought I would share them with you. You can see how much I have transformed as a writer since there may be some errors or idk lol so....enjoy and COMMENT!!
*So this is my first story. This one is called "Audrey Love" and I hope you like it*
Hello. My name is Audrey and I am fifteen years old. I have a mom, a dad, and a brother. My parents aren't home a lot because of their traveling jobs so it's usually only me and my brother Anthony most of the time. Anthony is sixteen years old. We live in the biggest house in Laguna Beach, California. I absolutely love it here. It is like a big party all the time. Right now it is summer vacation and I am loving it. My brother has been throwing a lot of house parties lately since my parents are away for the week. They are a lot of fun but his friends are so annoying. There is actually a party going on right now. The guests are arriving so I better go let them in. Here we go with the drama. DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA, AND MORE DRAMA!
"Welcome again boys, come on in. Stuff is over there, drinks in the kitchen, food on the table, have fun!" I say as they enter
"Audrey, Audrey, Audrey...how are you on this fine evening. Let me tell you that you are looking mighty fine girl" says Jared
"Hey Jared but sorry I am not interested in jerks" Jared is a total player I cannot stand it
"There he goes again. Just ignore him Audrey. He is so dumb" says Dante who is Anthony's best friend.
"Thanks Dante but I gotta stick up for myself sometimes"
"You are absolutely right but if you ever need a second hand call me" he says
"I will remember that" I say and walk away
I secretly have a BIG crush on Dante. He is so cute and charming. There is just something so charismatic about him. It's so great that he is my brother's best friend. I get to see him all the time =)
"Hi Audrey...how are you honey" says Ashley. Ashley is my brother's ex-girlfriend. I can't stand her.
"Hey I'm great" I say and walk away from her
"Hey honey how are ya" says Lauren, my favorite of my brother's friends
"Ha-ha what's up Lau, you heard her?" I say
"Ugh she is so fake" Lauren says
"I know"
"So did you see who is here" asks Lauren referring to Dante
"Yeah, I kinda talked to him for like a minute" I say and smile
"Nice, so you are making some progress" she says
"But not enough, I mean how do I get him to be mine" I ask
"Well you gotta flirt, show off, dress to impress, and be yourself. That's my top four" Lauren says
"I'll try it but he's a tough one to crack" I say
"Audrey, you can have anyone in a second you know that right?"
"Not him" I say
"Maybe he is playing hard to get" Lauren says
"Yeah...maybe" I say
"I'll talk to you later I'm going to go in the back, remember to do what I said. One step at a time girl" says Lauren
"Thanks Lau"
"You're welcome Audrey" she says
I go into the kitchen
"Yo, Audrey, go get more ice" my brother Anthony yells
"What am I your slave? I never get to have fun at these parties! Oh my god" I say, clearly in a bad mood
"Please, pretty please" he begs
"Ugh fine but this is the last thing I am doing"
I go into the kitchen freezer and get more ice and find out there is no more. I go down the basement and grab some from that freezer. Whoa I just spilled it all over the floor. Crap
"Is everything ok down there?"
Its Dante.
"Um yeah I just dropped all the ice" I shout
He comes downstairs
"Oh Audrey its you down here. Let me help you with this" he says and he helps me pick up the ice
"Thanks, just throw it in the sink" I say
"Is there anymore ice?" he asks
"I don't know. Check there" I point to the bigger freezer
"Yup there's plenty don't worry I will go fill it upstairs just clean yourself up. I'll take care of it" he says
"Thank you so much Dante" I say
After I dry myself off I go back upstairs
"Audrey!" Ant says "Come here I want to ask you something"
I go over to Anthony and next to him is Amber and Chrissa. They are best friends with Ashley. I hate them all.
"Audrey, I have a question" says Amber
"What is it?" I ask
"I was just wondering if you liked anyone" she said
"What? Like who?" I ask
"Ok lets rephrase the question. If you had to choose one of your brothers friends to like or go out with then who would it be" she says in her bitchy voice
"Why do you guys want to know this?" I say
"It's just for a little fun" they say
"Well sorry I am not in the mood for fun"
"You better tell us Audrey" demands Amber
"Yeah or else we will make you announce it out loud to everyone" says Ashley
"What's the difference, you will tell everyone anyway" I tell them
"NO we won't, we promise" they say
"Yea well I don't believe you. Now please leave me alone" I say and walk away
"What's the matter Audrey you look really angry" asks Lauren when she sees me
"Yeah well Ashley, Amber, and Chrissie are harassing me" I say
Just then Ashley says "Can I have everyone's attention please"
"Oh no, what is she doing" I say out loud
"Audrey here would like to announce who she likes to all of you. Audrey?"
"Nobody, thank you" I say
"Tell us Audrey" she says
"It is none of your snotty ass business!" I shout and walk away from them
A few minutes later I see Lauren.
"Are you ok Audrey?" she asks
"I'm fine. She is a bitch"
"Wow, you really do know how to stick up for yourself Audrey, you proved me wrong" says Dante as he comes up to us
"You were never right" I say and smile
"Oooh smart alek" he says and laughs
"She's gotta get over herself. She is not the only mean one at this party" I say
"I can see" he says and smiles
"Yea well..." I say
"What did she ask you?" he asks
"She wanted to know who I would go out with if I had to date one of my brother's friends" I tell him blushing
"Well who would it be?" he asks
"Sorry I can't tell you. I mean I would if I could but I can't" I explain
"You really contradict yourself sometimes right" he says
"Yeah I guess so" I say and he laughs
"Dante, can I show you something?" I ask
"Yeah sure"
I bring him up to my room.
"Wow, you have a really nice room. I like the way its decorated" he says
"Thanks, I want to be an interior decorator when I am older" I tell him
"That's great that you know what you want"
"Yeah. This is what I wanted to show you" I say
I show him a picture from when I was little. He is standing next to me. I was six and he was seven. We were at my brother's birthday party.
"Oh man I remember this day" he says
"I found the picture yesterday" I say
"Wow, look how tiny we were. You were such a small 6 year old" he says
"Yeah I was a tiny kid" I say and laugh
"I remember that shirt you are wearing. Remember when I spilled my drink on it by accident and you started crying" he says
"Oh gosh yeah I was so mad at you" I say and giggle
"Well I am sorry about that" he says
"It's fine. I didn't know any better"
"How long have I known you then?" he says
"Well we met when I was 3 and you were 4. So I guess like 13 years?" I say
"Wow! That's long"
"I know. Remember when Joe L. smashed Anthony's face in the birthday cake" I say
"Oh my god yeah that was funny" he says
"Yeah well we all have so many great memories"
"We do" says Dante
RING! RING!
"Hello" I say as I answer my cell phone
"Oh hey mom, yea everything's good...of course he is...oh it did...oh great thanks...k I will see you tomorrow...bye...I love you too...bye" I say
"Sorry that was my mom. My dress came in for my sweet 16" I tell Dante
"Did it? That's exciting" he says "When is it again?"
"Friday" I say
"Am I invited?" he says and smiles
"Of course you are. You are #1 on the list" I say
"I thought so, I thought so"
"You actually have a candle" I say
"Alone?" he asks
Oh no, here it goes. I should tell him right?
"Yeah, because I am having one for a boy and I wanted to actually talk to you about that" I start saying
"Yeah..." he says urging me to continue on
"You know how the sixteenth candle is for your boyfriend, well since I don't have one and the closest boy to me that I have known the longest and is the most decent guy I know is you, I wanted to ask you if you would be my 16th candle?" I say with nervousness
"You sound so afraid" he says
"I don't know I guess I was scared to ask you" I confess
"Of course I will be your 16th candle Audrey" he says sweetly
"Thank you so much you don't know how much this means to me" I say
"You're welcome" he says and gives me a kiss on the cheek
"I gotta go back downstairs but I will see you Friday ok?"
"Yup thanks again...bye" I say and he leaves
The party was finally over and I had the house to myself. Peace and quiet! I decided to call Lauren and tell her the great news.
"Hey Lau"
"Audrey! What's up?" she says
"I asked Dante last night"
"Oh my god Audrey what did he say?!?" she asks excitedly
"He said of course I will be your 16th candle"
"Aw Audrey I am so excited for you" she says
"I know thanks" I say
So today is Thursday. I am still working on my speech for my candles and making sure my speech for Dante is extra special. I have to get back to work.
Friday is here and I finally finished my speech. I am getting my hair done right now. It is going to be all curled and clipped to the side with sparkles and a fancy tiara. My dress is white with lots of sparkles and it is strapless. I am so excited for my party. My dais is here and so are the limos. My brother is my escort for the night.
"Girls you look so beautiful. I love it" I say to my dais
"You look gorgeous Audrey!" they all say
"Thanks I am so excited lets go" I say and we go in the limos
We are on our way to the hall.
"So is Dante your 16th candle because that's what Ashley said" asks my friend Melanie
"Yeah and how does she know?" I ask
"I don't know but that's awesome. He is so cute" she says
"I know I am so excited" I tell Melanie
We arrive at the party.
The DJ announces the dais ...and now...
"And now the young lady you have all been waiting for, Being escorted by her older brother Anthony, please welcome to the party your sweet sixteen girl, Miss Audrey!!!" shouts the emcee
I walk in with Anthony and everyone is cheering for me. I look around. So many people are here.
I go on the dance floor and start dancing with my friends. Dante approaches me and starts talking over the loud music. He kisses me hello.
"Hey Dante" I say over the music
"Hey! You look so beautiful tonight" he says
"Aw thank you! You look nice yourself" I shout
"Thanks you wanna dance?" he asks
"Absolutely"
After I dance with Dante I go and get a drink
"Oh my god Audrey you look so pretty. You really do" says Ashley
"Thank you" I say
"Audrey, I saw you out there! Oh my god he actually asked you?" says Lauren
"Yeah, He came up to me and was like you look so pretty you want to dance and I was like YES!!" I tell her
"Aw yay!"
"I know and my speech for him is so good!" I say
"Is it a tear jerker?" she asks
"I don't know maybe for you it will be because you cry for everything" I say
"Ha-ha I cannot wait until your candles" says Lauren
"I will be doing them soon"
"Are you nervous?"
"No not at all" I say
My candles are here. It is finally time.
"Hey everyone I just want to thank everyone for coming to my party. It is absolutely more than I thought it would be and I want to thank my family"
Everyone applauds
"Ok so my first candle is for my parents. Mom: even though we disagree on many things and we have our fights you are such a cool mom and truly a best friend. No matter what you are always there for me and I thank you for that and for everything you do for me. I love you so much. Dad: you are a pretty strict one but I think I am the only one who knows the fun side of you. You always know how to cheer me up and correct my mistakes whether it is in school, basketball, or softball. I love you very much. So mom and dad would you both please come up and help me light my first candle" I say
We light the first candle.
My second candle was for my grandparents
"My third candle is for my brother Anthony. Ant: we fight a lot and it really never seems to stop, however we do have our awkward brother sister moments now and then. You really look out for me when it comes to boys and school and you protect me. I am so thankful that I have a fun and awesome big brother like you in my life. So Anthony, I love you and will you please light my third candle"
I go through some more.
"My fifteenth candle is for Lauren, my best friend. Lauren: you are my best friend even though you are a year older than me but that makes it so much better. I can go to you for advice on anything and everything and you always know the right thing to say. You are like a big sister to me and I don't know what I would do without you. So Lauren will you please come light my 14th candle"
The 16th candle is here. I am so nervous oh my god here it goes...
"My 16th candle is here. Since I don't have a boyfriend my sixteenth candle is for a boy who comes close to it. Dante: I have known you since I can write my name. I have known you for 13 years and I don't know about you but that's a really long time. We have had so many memories together. From the time you spilled soda all over my shirt when we were six and seven to the time you taught me how to ride a 2 wheeler because you thought you were so cool that you knew how and me and Anthony didn't. You have always been there for me no matter what and just the other day you helped me pick up ice off the floor. Every time I am with you I have so much fun and I never want it to end. You are truly a great guy. I am so thankful to have met you and share a part of my life with you. Dante, the other day you wanted to know what Ashley asked me and I told you she wanted to know that if I had to date one of my brother's friends who would it be but I never answered you because I said I really couldn't tell you. Well I think you can figure out that it would be you. Thank you for everything. Dante, will you please come up here and help me light my sixteenth candle?" I say
Oh my god!! Everyone claps and Dante comes up with a huge smile on his face and lights the candle with me.
"Thanks you" he whispers
"No, thank you" I whisper
He gives me a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
The candle ceremony went great. A slow song came on later
"Audrey, dance with me" Dante says
I am slow dancing with Dante
"That speech was so amazing" he says
"I was trying not to cry" I say
"Really?"
"Yeah I was getting a little emotional" I say and laugh
He pulls me closer to him
"I like you a lot. You really are an amazing girl" he says
"Thanks I like you a lot too"
He laughs and says "We should go out sometime"
"Really?" I ask with a big smile on my face
"Definitely" he says
I smile and we keep dancing. My sweet sixteen was so much fun. I had a really fun time.
"Thanks mom and dad for everything. I love you guys" I say to my parents at the end of the night
"You're welcome sweetie. We love you too. I was crying the whole time especially during your 16th candle" my mom says
"Thanks mom"
"So how is Dante" my dad asks
"He is good. Really good" I answer
"You are in love" my brother says
"I'm not in love...yet"
Today is Saturday the day after my party. I am so tired. It is 11 am and I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in!"
"Oh hey Dante! I didn't know you were coming over. I would have gotten dressed" I say a little embarrassed
"It's ok how are you" he asks
"I am good. Really good actually" I say
"That's good"
"Um listen I just wanted to say thank you again. You really made my sweet 16 really special and I had a lot of fun with you" I tell him
"Hey...Audrey"
"Yeah?" I say and look up at him
He then lifts up my chin and kisses me on the lips.
"I had fun with you too. Now how about we go on that date we have been talking about" he says
I smile and say "LETS GO!"
He kisses me again.
