Short Poem of Heartbreak

Sorry no longer matters,

Not when a heart is shattered,

Tears won’t keep you here,

Nor will anything else, I fear,

The demise of our relationship is me,

Perhaps it just wasn’t meant to be,

But I can’t bring myself to stop the pain,

My pleads are spoken in vain,

Now I know my mistakes,

It’s just a little too late,

And I am nothing to you except a disgrace.
