Shoe Insole Reviews

Are you trying to find the best shoe insole for your need? Then please come in and read about what we found.
During a recent trip to my doctor's office I brought up the topic of heel pain after running, and together we found that I may have been suffering from plantar facilities. I began looking for shoe insole reviews but I didn't have much luck. Most shoe insole reviews I had found were basically thinly hidden sales pitches without much solid information. However, I did finally manage to get a little bit of information about shoe insoles and dealing with heel pain but it took a really long time. Here is some good points to consider about shoe insoles that you may be looking for:

-Most insoles are made out of inferior materials that are poorly suited for stopping any kind of foot pain. The short comings of gel and foam will be described below.

-Most insoles are not designed to treat any specific form of pain, if any pain what so ever.

-Most insoles are a complete waste of money if you are looking for an insole that will last for a long period of time and effectively treat pain.

I found a lot of really poor shoe insole reviews for the gel insoles that you will typically find at Walmart or Target but with very little specific information about what they are meant to do. Basically, when you have a gel insole all you are paying for in a short term solution for a much bigger, longer lasting problem. The gel quickly looses its "Sponginess" and since it was never meant to treat the cause of the pain it becomes completely ineffective. The foam insoles are often cheaper, and fall apart much sooner than even the gel insoles.

There were some shoe insole reviews about the more expensive Doctor Scholl’s Insoles and as I found out that they did last a little bit longer than the generic gel insoles, but once again they aren’t clinically proven to work. They weren’t actually designed to treat specific foot problems, and therefore aren’t designed to stop foot pain. They suffered the same problem as the other no-name gel insoles in that they fell apart quickly as well. I was pretty discouraged by this point, but I didn’t stop looking for an insole that actually did what I needed it to do.

Finally I came across a set of insoles at MEDICALLY PROVEN INSOLES and did a bit of research on them. I wasn’t really able to find much in shoe insole reviews about them, but to my surprise I did find a lot of information as far as clinical studies that were done using them. I was shocked. You mean there was a product that had research done in its development? I didn’t know what to think honestly. So I kept digging and here is what I found.

Each insole was developed for a specific medical condition. They took groups of individuals with heel spurs and applied pressure to various points throughout the foot to determine how to correct the physical problem that was causing all the discomfort and pain. Using that knowledge, they then went through a long product development period and finally had a design that worked to stop pain for people with heel spurs. They then patented the design so nobody could copy it and bam, there you have it.

They did the same thing for plantar faciities, running pain, so on and so forth. On my next visit into the doctor’s office I talked to him about them and he had told me that he has heard of them before from his colleagues but never had any of his patients actually try them. So, I gave them a shot and have to say that I was pretty darn impressed. They were about $25 bucks, but there was free shipping for orders over $30, so I ordered two pairs to see what would happen. I figured if it only worked out to be an extra $10 or so for the second pair, what did I really have to lose? In my case, they worked very well so I put a pair in my boots and a pair in my shoes. Well the shoes I most typically wear anyways. So there you have it, I hope it helps someone out there to have me summarize what I found for shoe insole reviews and what I found worked.
