She's the One - Chapter One
In the old world, everything is unfair, cameo knows this, she loses everything she has to try to stop it. The angels are the leaders though. They've made the world dangerous, too dangerous to fall in love.

"Let this be known to everyone witnessing the abomination being burnt, traitors will have no mercy shown to them."
I couldn't believe what was happening, that pig sentencing innocent people to death when they've done no harm. That Jael, he thinks he so powerful, because he's descended from the Angels. The tears that escaped my eyes ran down my cheek like razorblades, this was helpless. I couldn't just stand here and watch an elderly woman be burnt.
"Wait, stop. Please!" All eyes turned to me, but my eyes were fixed on Jael. His pale white skin and bright blue eyes were, ironically, angelic. But his pitch black hair showed another side to him, the monstrous side. I pushed my way through the crowd and was standing face to face with him. "You have no right to interrupt justice being done." He stated plainly. My jaw dropped, justice, that's what he's calls it. Justice. Ha.
"Jael, what crime has she really committed?" I whispered.
Jael -
Cameo was here again, trying to stop our new law. I can't blame her, whatever people may think I do not agree but it isn't my place to say. I am part Angel. I must obey the law. I looked her up and down, she looked like she'd been through a rough time. Her brown eyes were bloodshot red from crying, her matching hair was messy. I shook away my thoughts and simply said "Cameo, keep yourself out of the Angels ways, you'll only get into trouble." as soon as the words came out I regretted them, her face crumpled and she lost all emotion in her voice when she told me "I see the beast you truly are, I'll expose you, and all your other precious Angels. More of demons they are." Then she ran. I nodded toward Kirrm and he set the wood alight, then the screams began. Cameo jut didn't understand, she was just a girl with too little to lose. For her sake I hope she doesn't anger the Angels.
Cameo -
"Mama? I'm home." I shouted. We lived in a small village on the outskirts of the main city where the so-called 'angels' lived. My papa died in the war for the Angels right to rule, what a waste. "Mama?" I walked upstairs then screamed. My mama, the only one I had left was lying on the floor, wearing nothing, blood gushing from her neck and a message carved into her skin..
'you should not mess with our kind, Angels.'
As much as I kept shaking her, she wouldn't wake. They took papa away and now mama too! That's it, nothing to lose now. They're going to regret they ever did this. I was numb, I couldn't feel anything but hurt. I cleaned up mama's body and clothed her, carrying her outside for a proper send off to the spirit world. They would keep her safe, she was a good woman.
Jael -
I needed to warn Cameo. I had attended a meeting and the Angels mentioned her and her recurring outbursts, they were going to do something to her. I rode hard on my best horse and entered her small village, Bucksley, it was silent. I saw a man passing by me and I called out to him "Which is Cameo's home?" He spat at the ground, glared at me, then walked on. But I didn't need his help, because there she was, kneeling in front of a freshly dug and filled grave. "What are you doing Cameo?" I said worried as I dismounted, she didn't even turn around. "Cameo?" I put my hand on her back and she got up and yelled "As if you don't know!!" she pushed me away from her. "Your mother?" I gasped. They wouldn't, my kind couldn't, it was so wrong. I put my hands on my face as she screamed that it was my fault. That stung. "It's not my fault. I came to warn you." She scoffed and said "Well now I have nothing left, so they should worry about what I can do." I didn't doubt her words.
