Shea Butter Moisturizer Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 bowl of Shea Butter
- 6 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 2 capsules of vitamin E
- 3 teaspoons fragrance oil or 10 drops of essential oil
- Blender
- Empty jar
- Make a double boiler by placing a bowl on hot boiling water. Now pour the Shea butter into the upper bowl. The indirect heat will melt the butter slowly. Keep whipping it to make it smooth and then allow it to cool down.
- Once the Shea butter becomes lukewarm, break the vitamin E capsules and add the oil to the butter. Next, add the coconut oil as well.
- Blend this mixture till it starts looking like a cake's batter and reaches an even consistency.
- Next, add the essential oils or the fragrance oils. Add a hint of vanilla to the cream, as the fragrance is known to arouse your sensuality.
- Once again, continue whipping the cream so that the ingredients are mixed well together.

- ½ cup of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
- ½ ounce of fragrance oil
- Once again heat the Shea butter with a low flame on a double boiler. Melt it completely and then remove it from the heat.
- When it reaches a lukewarm temperature, add olive oil to it and then mix it once again.
- Once the butter becomes a little hard to stir, add the vitamin E oil and the fragrance oil to the mixture. Use an electric blender to create the perfect consistency of the mixture.
- While using Shea butter for your hair, remember to first give your head a nice steam to invigorate the pores on your scalp.
- Apply this cream on your hair and use a comb to make sure it reaches your every strand.
- Leave it on for 30 minutes and wrap your hair in a warm towel.
- Doing this twice a week will improve the texture of your hair, eliminate the dryness, and restore its luster.
