She Is Gone

We were together like two birds in love
Flying and laughing in the sky of love
At night she used to lay her head on my wing
We used to look in each other's eyes and sing
Our love is eternal and it will never die
I'll hug you when you laugh and when you cry

But, the day I've been afraid of had come
She had been taken and I became so glum
She'd gone and left me alone in our empty nest
