Shar Jackson Defends K-Fed

Kevin Federline’s ex, Shar Jackson, has come to his defense saying that he is a good guy who has gotten a bad rap (no pun intended).

Jackson, best known for her role on Moesha, and Federline dated for a couple of years and have two children together – Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2. Federline left Jackson when she was seven-months pregnant with Kaleb to be with Spears. Now Jackson is coming to his defense. She said recently, "He’s such a nice guy. He’s made some mistakes but everybody doesn’t have the whole world pointing their fingers at his mistakes." She added that she is not bitter about the fact that he dumped her for Spears and says she feels "sympathy" for him because, as she puts it, he has become "almost a national joke."

Spears and Federline separated earlier this week and are both suing for custody of their tow young sons – Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 2 months. Jackson said of the custody battle, "I don’t know what their situation is or why he wants to get custody of his children other than the fact that he loves them. Maybe, it goes deeper than that. Maybe it’s because of all the press about her mothering." Jackson also said that while Federline does not pay her child support for her children he does pay for their schooling. She added that they " go to a very expensive private school."

Jackson said, "I hope that they are mature enough to realize that their differences come second to the needs of their children and that it is no longer about them as individuals, but about maintaining a healthy friendship/relationship for the sake of their children." Hopefully Federline can continue to keep his kids in a "very expensive private school" now that he doesn’t seem to be on Britney’s payroll anymore…
