Sex Fantasy

Sex fantasy guilt discipline rules law legal bestiality psychopath.
Often, when filling out forms, there's a little block for SEX: I've often been tempted to write: "Yes please!"

One of the most common female fantasies is having sex with animals, usually dogs. Maybe it's a male one as well, (having sex with animals) but if news reports from rural areas are anything to go by, for males, it's not a fantasy!

This kind of puzzled me, because I don't see the appeal, but a little more cogitation reveals that there is a possible explanation: both men and women engage in sexual acts with animals. There is probably no way of validating any numbers, but if men and women are the same, with the same needs and desires, and I believe they are, then they will simply adapt to their situation. Women tend to do it at home, and the only available animal is usually a friendly dog. Men will be out in the fields.....which explains why men make the news more often: more chance of getting caught.

It's fun to hypothesize about things, but observation of dogs, a fairly social animal, reveals many fascinating things, particularly if a minimum of training is used. They can be trained to do useful work, like guide dogs, and the most common is as early warning systems; that is, guard dogs. So dogs do have a function, even if in some cases it's purely decorative. They will protect 'their' territory. They will establish a hierarchy. (Like any social or pack animal) The alpha dog is usually male. They will still engage in play, even if they have been neutered. Young (male) dogs will ALWAYS challenge the alpha dog. Casual observation of dogs shows they mostly sleep, eat and play.

There's more than a little envy there, and anybody who's watched dogs knows the feeling. No doubt in my mind where the expression "It's a dogs life." comes from. Dogs don't have any problems with guilt, or existential angst. Observing the behavior of dogs, or wild animals, can provide a lot of insight into human behavior, and, in some cases, inspiration.

An explanation for women who fantasize about dogs: That's the animal they see most frequently, and the animal they are most likely to see engaged in sex, which will start a chain of thought. Part of that thinking is driven by guilt; "Rover isn't going to say anything.....". That's the most interesting bit: If the opportunity, and desire is there. anybody who can fantasies about something is to engage in a 'depraved' act, driven by impulses she (or he) doesn't quite understand. Why doesn't she just do it with another human? Probably because she actually worries about what other people will say. With another human, he or she might blab it about and that would be...embarrassing? Nobody ever died of a little embarrassment. Shame? Nobody ever died of shame, either, even though they may have felt like it! Sex with another human should be a secret? Why? Dogs do it all the time, and nobody bothers about that, and we also KNOW that humans do it a lot, so where's the problem?

Theoretically speaking, we're civilized. That can't be quite right, because if we were, we wouldn't need laws. Or rules. In addition, if people actually stuck to rules and laws, earth would be a planet of machines. Rules and laws simply say: "This would be a bad idea, and this is what can happen if you break that rule." All rules and laws are there for that simple reason: to try to make you think of possible consequences, before you do something. Once you reach a certain level of personal development, there is the realization that the vast majority of laws are useless, but break them at your own risk.

Tangentially, this is where psychopaths come from: an early behavior of breaking the rules, and getting away with it. So they invariable move onto bigger and bigger crimes. As far as I can tell, psychopaths ALWAYS get caught. Of course, until they actually are, they're still out there.

Here's a conclusion: every single popular movie, game or book appeals to the dark side of our nature; we recognize that, even if we're not sure of what it is. Collectively, they allow us to explore our own nature, by playing 'what if' scenarios. Thinking has never been a crime, and the only privacy you will EVER get is inside your own head.

What you actually do with those thoughts is up to you.
