A thorough cleanup is what is needed next. With the help of tweezers, pluck the waste shreds of thread and remove any stubborn lint that you may find. Clean up the crevices with a vacuum cleaner. All the moving parts and gears should be lubricated with lithium grease and sewing machine oil should be used for other parts. The teeth on the gears are important, so use a toothpick to loosen the grime and again, use a vacuum cleaner to remove it totally.

In this case, the user seems to have pressed the wrong lever, resulting in it hitting the needle. In this case, the presser foot needs to be replaced. Also, remove the needle and install a new one.

Breaking of the Bobbin Thread
The cause of this problem could be that the bobbin has not been properly inserted in the bobbin case, or it has not been correctly threaded. So ensure that you have inserted the bobbin thread correctly in the bobbin case. You can also clean up the bobbin case and shuttle.

Improper Stitches
For solving this problem, make sure that the thread is correctly pulled in the thread censor guide. Check the bobbin case, if it is correctly threaded. If not, then, thread it correctly.

Material Cannot Be Fed in the Machine
Well, raise the feed dogs in this case and select the stitch pattern and length. If that does not work, hold the threads back, under a pressure foot, prior to stitching.
