Sew Your Melody Into My Sleep

Collapsed by the beauty of something, I am captured. The emotions of my life are overwhelming, and I am losing myself. the ripples of water evade my like those present in my life.
Say no more.
Sew your melody into my sleep.
I am trapped, and you are my release.
You've run off, and I've fallen motionless to the ground.
My world went spinning round, and breathlessly the dense floor met my last sound.
The blur surrounding me, the haze. What an incredulous daze.
Figures no longer formed, lines no longer running along.
I am so weak, my mind is somewhere crushed underneath.
Alongside runs an endless creek,
And with each last effort so meak,
I inch myself closer to drowned, and sleep.
My fingers tred through water, the music swirling so deep.
The ripples evading my touch, a simple metaphor for such.
Left in this restless heap, with rhythm reaching out to thee
I am destined to be lost in this melody.
