Seven Dwarfs Names

Want to know what were the names of the seven dwarfs of Snow White? If so, then keep reading the article as it will not only give you their names but also some more insights about them and the movie.
Though in the original Snow White story, the dwarfs were not named, the seven dwarfs names were created only when Walt Disney made the cartoon version of the story, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. It was an American animated movie based on the fairly tale Snow White by the Brother Grimm. Though the film in every way was similar to the original Snow White story, there were a few differences, like in the movie the seven dwarfs had names while they were not named in the fairy tale. In the fairy tale Snow White accepts three gifts from the witch who wanted to kill her (a girdle, a poisoned comb, and the apple) but was saved by the first two gifts by the dwarfs but in the movie she only accepted the poisonous apple.

Likewise in the fairy tale Snow White didn't come alive by the prince's kiss which is shown in the movie, rather the prince takes the coffin carrying her body from the dwarfs and during the journey to his castle, the piece of poisoned apple in Snow White's throat dislodges and she comes alive. Also in the fairly tale, the stepmother attends the wedding of Snow White and the prince, and was forced to wear hot iron shoes till death to keep her from harming Snow white whereas, in the movie, it has been shown that the stepmother was chased by the seven dwarfs up to a mountain after she gave Snow White the poisoned apple and while fighting the dwarfs a lightening strikes the mountain edge and she falls to her death. However, despite all these differences Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has always been the most loved animated movie amongst kids.
