A Serenade Of A Broken Symphony

A poem I wrote about love gone wrong! Inspired by my heartless, sadistic ex girlfriend!!!
She held me with those careless empty embraces,
her stares cut right through me like sharp razor wires.
I've always wondered how you could sleep so sound at night
with that knife so firmly grasped against my back?
With a perfect smile and gestures aligned,
I still remember the day you carved your name deep in my heart.
It's yours for the taking baby,
put it along side the other broken hearts you have on your wall.
The innocent hearts you've stolen and bled
for your sick sadistic admiring convenience.
As tears hit the ground it seems I've wasted my breathless words
of asking you to love me like you mean it.
I never knew it could mean so much to me
as you'd smile and whisper promises of forever.
With those same lying lips you once made me believe in love, Liar liar!
I've set your words on fire.
Now Cut me open, use me and bury me
in this tragic love story in which I'll be the narrator.
A plot with a twist and a happy ending for you!
You're all I ever had... But baby, you're nothing!!!
