Always wear a protective hat during exposure to harsh sunrays. In order to prevent fading of hair color by sweat, you can consider wearing ponytail while doing rigorous exercise or household works.
Removing Semi-permanent Hair Color
Semi-permanent hair dye persists for about 6-12 shampoo washes. Some semi-permanent hair color products contain dilute peroxide and ethanolamine, which helps in slight opening of the hair cuticles; thus, lasting for nearly 20 washes. If you want to remove semi-permanent hair color before it fades away on its own, then you can do so effectively just after hair coloring within 24 hours. Consider washing the hair for multiple times with shampoo and hot water.
In case of removing semi-permanent hair dye after 2-3 days, you can apply any of the hot oil treatment, virgin olive oil or lemon juice along the hair strands. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse the hair thoroughly with cold water. Another option to remove semi-permanent hair color is by using white vinegar all over the hair. Wash vinegar applied hair after 20 minutes. All these methods are useful for removal of semi-permanent hair dye.
