Self Against Heart

Another poem I wrote about my poor little broken heart hah..... Once again inspired by my ex girlfriend.
Patiently waiting forever under these acidic clouds if I must.
These stitched lips have broken the silence my heart feeling distant from yours.
I'm stumbling, chasing the starlight seeping from a crack in the sky.
Grasping onto every unforgotten memory refusing to let go.
I've lost myself inside these emotions forever until I'm found.
Writing unread love letters smiling in hopes that you'll be mine once again.
I've set myself on fire trying to burn off everything inside.
Now help me breathe, my oxygen is slowly running out of these punctured lungs.
I'm Aching like a pile of broken hearts singing a lovely tragic lullaby.
Hoping to fall asleep where the only place you exist now is in my dreams.
