Seemly Forbidden [Chapter 6- Undeniable Attraction]
A teenage meets a vampire boy who hates who he is...
"Hey," I spoke, my finger twisting with a lock of my blonde hair. I knew I was nervous and it was probably showing on my face, dealing with feelings like this I have never been good at. Perhaps, I hoped, that he didn’t noticed. He hadn’t been paying much attention as I approached him, Blaze looked like he was too busy playing with the food on his plate.
He quickly glanced up and it shocked me that he actually seemed surprise that he was standing there. I know that I had rejected him early, well, I suppose that it a good reason to be surprised. Blaze wasn’t saying anything though, like he was tongue tied. But, in my head, I was almost positive that he didn’t want to talk to him.
A smile, though, came to his lips as he pushed his food away. Today’s lunch was lasagna and a green vegetable that I wasn’t sure what it was, so I could see why the food didn’t seem appetizing to him.
"Hey," Blaze sat up straight, holding his hand and offered me a spot to sit. I took the spot in front of him, making it easier to have a conversation facing each other.
I studied Blaze’s features, not really been able to before. I’ve never really gotten the opportunity to check out his looks, it’s hard from a distance. His appearance is different from all the others I know, there was something to his features that made him stick out more. I use to think his hair was red, but being closer, I noticed that his hair was more a light brown. His eyes were a deep green and hypnotic.
The moment I locked my eyes with his, I couldn’t pull my gaze away from them. There was just sometimes about them that wouldn’t let me look away and I suddenly felt depressed. His eyes held such a sadness, it made my insides churn. It took me awhile, but I was finally able to pulled by eyes away from him, only to realize that I missed half of what he just said.
"-and so I just wanted to say sorry for that."
I bit down on my lip, looking back up to him. I made sure that I didn’t look to long into his eyes, I didn’t want to be caught again. It was all strange, I wanted to know why this was happening to me. The feeling that I felt inside, I wasn’t sure that I really enjoyed. They were too confusing.
"Um," I coughed softly, before running my fingers through my blonde hair and pushed my hair out of my eyes. Giving him a sheepish smile, "Sorry, I… Um, what were you sorry for again?"
I was expecting him to sigh and get annoyed for having to tell me all over again why he was sorry, but it was nothing like that. Blaze just nodded and started all over again.
"Oh, well.." He began, and I once started to drift off against in thoughts.
God, his voice was so dreamy. It was easy to get caught up into it, that I wasn’t sure how to react to it. It was perfect.
"- scaring you the other night at the soccer field."
I only caught the end of it, but it got what he was meaning. He was sorry for making me feel awkward and confused, and a bit scared for how he looked after my game. Obviously I forgive him, he was probably just in some sort of mood.
"Don’t worry about it," I told him, giving him a smile.

As I watched her look at me, I suddenly felt like I’ve met her before tonight. She looked familiar to another that I once knew, but I couldn’t pin out where. That blonde hair, her gorgeous eyes, and lovely face… Who what it that she reminded me of?
The thought her looking a lot like someone I once knew, or know, bothered me. I have lived for over a hundred years, I’ve met many people, it could’ve been so many different people.
Deciding to leave it alone, I gave Raleigh a smile when she told me not to worry about it. I knew that I shouldn’t have worried about it, but it would’ve bothered me until I had apologized.
I spotted the foot on the table, It was no use to me. I didn’t eat any human food. Well, I can, but I don’t like it. It’s like a human can eat dirt, but doesn’t like to. That’s the same way with me, I can’t eat human food, but it tastes gross and disgusting.
"Do you want my lunch? It’s just appealing to me, not one of their best meals," I lied to her, not really want to.. But I couldn’t tell her that I didn’t want it because I despised eating food.
Raleigh shook her head and glanced down to the food, "No," She said, "I don’t really like this lunch. It’s to gross and disgusting… I’m sure it’s alive."
I laughed softly, nodding. I had to agree with her, the noodles to the lasagna were stuck together and I imagined them coming alive and trying to strangle someone.
At that moment the bell rang, telling all the students that it was time for the next class. I sighed, not wanting to go.
"Guess I’ll see you later," She told me and with a wave, she left
