Secrets She Kept - Part Three
:)
At the end of that class, which was the last class three remained sitting. Abby slowly stood up. Eric slowly walked to the door. Xander walked in front of Abby.
"Can you meet us out front at ten?" Xander asked.
She looked him up and down. She nodded and started for the door.
She showed up at ten that night. The boys were leaning against the school. Xander walked up to her.
"We need to talk to someone. About this and we can trust you right?"
"I won't tell anyone." She agreed. The boys entrusted her with all of their secrets. She felt good helping these boys. When she got home she deleted the tape of them making out. She saw more than enough that night.
At school the next day when Abby walked into the class room she jumped when out of the corner of her eye she saw Zachary making out with Stacy next to the door.
Zachary smiled when he saw her.
Abby went on to her seat at the back.
"Dude, stop it." Eric was discussed by the fact that someone could kiss a girl who way.
"Go away." Zachary tried to shoo him away.
"Get your own room." Simon tried to make it funny.
Zachary tilted his head back and laughed. He gave Stacy a kiss and whispered in her ear. She giggled and moved on to her seat.
The girls crowded together and laughed.
"So why don't you have a girlfriend Xander?" Zachary called, as he leaned against the door frame.
"No reason." Xander shrugged.
"You should get one. You look kind of fagish without one." Zachary was normally like this. Always an ass.
"I'm not a fag. There just ain't much to choose from around this dump." Xander crossed his arms.
"Maybe he is gay." Zachary tilted his head to look at Xander. "What do you think David?"
David looked up at Xander. "He does have that gayish look to him..." David just wanted to be accepted by Zachary.
"I'm not Gay!"
"Prove it." Simon kicked a chair over.
Xander looked to Eric then to Abby then back to Eric. Eric nodded inconspicuously. Abby was confused.
"You want to know why I'm not looking for a girlfriend?" Xander asked. Everyone nodded. "Because I have one." Xander walked over to Abby and pulled her from her seat. 'Sorry,' He whispered as he pressed his lips to hers. His hand pushed her body into his. He slowly pulled away from her. He looked to the class. "Any questions?"
Everyone sat down and looked away from them.
Xander sat down next to Abby. "Sorry about that." He whispered.
Abby took a breath. She sat down when everyone looked away. "Don't apologize. It's what you had to do right?"
"I planned that out with Eric before you got there last night. We figured you would help us."
"Yeah. I'm helping."
Xander leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Zach is looking."
Abby kissed Xander's cheek. "Zach doesn't scare me."
"He scares me."
"I scare him." Abby stood up and walked over to Zachary. She bent down to whisper in his ear. "Stop being such a jerk because I don't help jerks by keeping secrets for them."
Zachary slowly nodded.
Abby smiled as she walked back to her seat.
That night Abby got a call on her cell. She looked at the number. She didn't know the number and she didn't have a talk plan so she hit the ignore button.
Then she got a text from the same number. It's Zach. Pick up.
The phone rang again and she hit the ignore button. She texted back; giving him the number to the house. Then that one rang.
"Hello?" Abby picked up.
"What the hell? Why didn't you pick up?" Zachary demanded.
"I'm sorry!" She put some sass into her words. "I don't get free talk. So what do you want?"
"To say sorry. Courtney is really mad at me and she's scared you might tell if I don't apologize." He admitted.
"I'm not the one you made fun of today at school."
"I'm not apologizing to Xander."
"I don't care what you do. But I am bothered when you act like a jerk! So stop it okay?" Abby demanded.
"Why do you act so shy at school? You are not shy...."
She didn't answer him. She didn't really know why.
"It is kind of hot." Zachary chuckled.
Abby rolled her eyes and hit the end button on the phone.
Abby sat next to Xander again. In her normal seat.
Zachary pulled a chair up next to her. Facing her. "Why did you hang up last night? We were having such a nice conversation."
"You were a jerk." She looked at him. "Go away."
"Sorry," He used a sarcastic tone as he stood up. Then he leaned over to whisper in her ear. "HOT!" He walked away from the table.
"Sorry." Xander whispered.
"Why?" Abby asked.
"He made me give him your number."
"Don't sweat it." Abby assured him.
"I don't get how people want to be friends with people like him. He is such a jerk."
"I know." She watched him.
There was a knock on the door around seven. Abby was in the kitchen leaning the camera lens. Her sister answered the door. She walked into the kitchen.
"It's for you."
"Who?" Abby demanded.
"A boy."
Abby smiled and turned on the camera. She walked over into the living room where the door was open. Abby let the camera fall to her waist.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Abby demanded.
"Can I come in?"
"Can you meet us out front at ten?" Xander asked.
