Secrets She Kept - Part One
Abby Welsh is new at her school in Churchbridge SK. Sorry I'm not good with the whole chapter One-two-three. It's all blurred. Wait for part two.
Tabitha Welsh was a normal girl with a habit of getting in the middle of some interesting secrets.
Tabitha is also known as Abby. She likes to be called Abby.
"Tabitha Welsh?"
"Abby," She corrected the teacher. Abby was new at Churchbridge school. Churchbridge was located in southern Saskatchewan. "I like to be called Abby."
"Welcome Abby." Mrs. Kindle smiled lightly as she sat down at a table in the library next to four girls. The only other girls in the grade ten class…
It was a small town….
Stella was a blonde styled in a bob. She had bright, bright blue eyes. She was the tallest in her class.
Stacy is a dancer. She specialized in Jazz with Stephanie. Stacy had burnet hair with undetermined hair length because she always had extensions in. She was dating Zackary.
Stephanie took Jazz with Stacy. She had dark curly hair. Very wild. She is the smartest girl in the class.
Courtney wasn’t much like the rest. She sat off to the side. Abby sat off to the other side. Courtney had black hair and wore a lot of black eyeliner. Moved there from Alberta like Abby did a few months before.
Courtney is the start of our first secret.
"Hi," Abby tried.
"Hi," Everyone else mumbled together.
At that moment Abby knew she was not making friends as this new school. She knew to keep to herself.
There were 7 Boy’s in the class. Zachary, Simon, (Best friends.) Xander and Eric. (Best friends.) Lucas, David, and Ben. Ben was a loner off to himself.
It was April and it was already spring. Four days after the first day Abby was walking around the school grounds with her Video camera. She wanted to show her mom the town. Abby’s mother lived in Ontario.
"This is the school." Abby whispered into the camera. "I’m sorry it’s so dark but this is the best time to video tape this." It was ten PM and dark. Abby pointed her camera at the school. She started walking for the park on the right. She went around every obstacle and got it all on tape.
She went around the back of the school. She looked at the one shed. She had her flashlight shining on it as she got it on film.
She walked on and soon wished she didn’t. She was startled by the people against the shed.
"Sorry," She jumped. She didn’t know she was pointing the camera at them. Then she saw what they were doing… and who it was.
It was Courtney and Zachary. She was giving him a BJ. She was absolutely sure that Zachary was dating Stacy.
"Sorry!" She repeated more sincerely before she started running back.
"No! Wait!" Zachary called after her. He started zipping up his pants to run after her but she was too far gone to chase her. She would be at her house around the corner before he could catch her.
Abby was breathing heavily as she slammed the door and ran down to the basement. It was the only place she could be alone in the house considering her bed was in the living room and her father and sister were watching the TV.
She just realized she still had the camera on.
She couldn’t believe this. She shut off the camera and went to bed ignoring the TV.
"I need to talk to you."
Abby started to hate the fact that Zachary’s locker was only one away from hers.
"Whatever you saw last night never happened." He told her.
"I didn’t leave the house last night." She lied as she turned to walk away from him but he caught her arm.
"Delete what you shot last night. All of it. Got it?" He demanded.
Abby pulled her arm from his grip as she nodded. She walked on to class. As Zachary sat down next to Stacy he kissed her lips gently.
Courtney sat next to me. "You’re not going to tell are you?" She asked.
"There is nothing to tell." Abby replied.
"So you’re keeping your mouth shut?" She asked hopefully.
"Think of it this way… Who would I tell and who would believe me over him?" She asked her.
"Thank you." She smiled.
That was secret number one. Not much there but have you ever tried not to tell a girl that her boyfriend is cheating on her?
Abby never deleted the video.
