This chapter isn't as long as the others, but I still hope you guys enjoy it. Sorry for the wait. Lol. And thanks sooooo much for all the comments! I didn't know the chapter was going to turn out that good lol. But you guys' comments make me so happy when I read them and they really do help me to write. (:

Damien’s P.O.V.
Damien had walked angrily to the door to find out who had interrupted him and Emily again, only to have the anger vanish and be replaced by shock. When he had opened the door lightening flashed, showing parts of the silhouetted person on the porch.
Her hair was blonde and down to her waist. It was dripping wet with rain and her eyes were a piercing blue color. She was short, but looked stout. It was his mother that he saw on the porch.
Now, Damien realized he was laying on something comfortable. He could hear voices talking in a different room. One was Emily, he knew that. The other he couldn’t quite put his finger on, though it sounded familiar. It couldn’t be his mother, though, she was dead.
Damien sat up, making himself dizzy. He waited out the dizziness and then got up to go find the voices. When he got to where they were he got another shock.
Clare was standing in the room with her wet, long blonde hair. Her dress was soaked from the rain. So, she was the one Damien saw when he opened the door. Although, he would have bet his last penny that it was his mom there, not her.
"What are you doing here?" Damien asked Clare.
"I couldn’t find you at the dance. I looked everywhere. And then I remembered you saying that when you were upset you came to the River House and stuff. You looked pretty upset before you left and so I figured you would be here. I came to make sure you were okay," Clarissa told him.
"Oh… Well, thanks. I’m fine, though."
"You sure? You kind of hit the floor hard."
"Yeah. I’m fine. I just… saw something and it shocked me so badly that I passed out, I guess."
"I know what you saw," Emily said to Damien.
"I know you do. I heard you scream," Damien replied.
"That was creepy, Damien. I know it was her. I just know it. Only, when she stepped through the door it was Clare."
"What are you guys talking about?" Clarissa interrupted.
"Nothing," Damien and Emily said at the same time.
Before Damien could stop it, he was on his knees again. His vision blacked out and then he saw it. He was seeing someone future.
He saw himself, being stared at adoringly. He was standing on a porch and looking out at some kind of river. He wasn’t sure who’s mind he was in, but he had a good idea of who it could be.
The woman walked over to him and laid a hand on his arm. So much love was coming from her that Damien almost burst out with happiness. When the woman spoke Damien knew who it was.
"Honey, you have to forget about her. It’s been three years. You went your separate ways and everything. You have me though," Clarissa told him in the vision.
"I know. I’m over Emily. I have been for a while. I was just sitting out here thinking, though," Damien replied.
The way Damien saw himself in the vision didn’t make him happy. He was sad and depressed. And Emily had been out of his life for three years? Damien didn’t like the vision he was having.
Especially because it had been the strongest vision he had ever had. He could see things clearly and hear voices clearly and read emotions clearly. He didn’t much like the fact that it had knocked him to his knees either.
He was vaguely aware that Emily and Clare was still in the room and were probably watching him right now. He couldn’t help it though. Damien knew how to start a vision, but he had no idea how to end one. And he wasn’t liking what he was seeing.
In the vision, Damien was still standing with Clare on a porch somewhere. She was telling him things to try and make him forget about Emily. Like that was even possible.
Damien tried to concentrate enough to kick himself out of the vision. He concentrated on Clare, Emily, and the River House. Everything that was in the present. After concentrating so hard it gave him a headache he finally came back to the present.
Emily wasn’t there, but Clare was beside him asking if he was okay. Damien’s mind started racing. He needed to know where Emily was. He was going to prevent his vision from coming true. Emily couldn’t leave his life.
"Are you alright!?" Clare practically shouted at Damien.
He ignored that and asked, "Where’s Emily?"
"What?"
"Emily! Where is she!"
"I don’t know. She left," Clare mumbled.
"Left where? I need to know this! I HAVE TO STOP HER!" he shouted.
He couldn’t stand and let Clarissa talk to him anymore and take up his time. Damien knew that Clare was nice and everything, but he couldn’t let Emily get away. He had to make sure she stayed in his life.
Damien jumped up off the floor and headed toward the door. He was still in boxers and nothing else, but he didn’t care. He grabbed his keys off the counter by the door and ran to his car.
If it took everything he had, he would keep Emily in his life. Damien would make sure of that. His visions were wrong sometimes, but only if he prevented them. This was one vision he would prevent.

Emily’s P.O.V.
Emily drove away from the River House. She didn’t know what to think about what Clare said. How could Damien have kept his and Clare’s relationship from her?
After the night they just had, it felt like Damien felt the same way as she did. Nothing was making sense. Damien wouldn’t have cheated on someone. And he would have told Emily if he were in a relationship with Clare, right?
All the things Clare had said weren’t very appropriate. Especially since she didn’t know Emily. And why hadn’t Damien stopped her from saying those things? All he did was drop to his knees and stare at the floor.
Emily felt like crying. Maybe she and Damien weren’t meant to be together and that’s why her life fell apart near him here lately.
Okay, Emily told herself, It’s going to be okay.
Emily decided that from now on she would ignore Damien and go on with her life. And she would have to tell Jess about them having sex. Sure, she would rag Emily about it, but she could also help her.
When Emily reached her house all the lights were out. She opened the door and straight to Jess’s room. She was asleep.
Emily tip toed to the side of her bed and shook her. Jess reached out and slapped her arm away.
"I’m up. Leave me alone," Jess groaned.
"Jess, I have to tell you something," Emily whispered.
"Can it wait till tomorrow?"
"No. It’s important."
"Fine. At least let me wake up first," Jess said, crawling out of bed.
Emily followed her to the kitchen. Jess made some tea for them both and then sat at the counter with Emily. She took a few drinks before speaking.
"Now, what did you want to talk about?" Jess started.
"It’s about Damien," Emily replied.
"What about him?"
"Well. I don’t think he’s gay."
"No, really!" Jess pretended to be shocked.
"Jess, this is crucial," Emily told her, seriously.
"What? I don’t get you, Emily," Jess said through bits of laughter.
"We had sex."
Jess chocked on her tea. Emily jumped up and started hitting her back. When her coughing fit was over, she stared at Emily.
Jess was starting to cry. Emily looked away. She was ashamed now that she had had sex.
"My little sister’s growing up," Jess muttered to herself.
Emily let out a breath.
"I wish I weren’t. If I could go back then I probably wouldn’t have done it. And he… He lied to me Jess," Emily said, trying to keep her voice from breaking.
"He lied to you? About what?"
"Everything. He lied about him being gay. He lied about him and Clare being together. Oh, my God. I had sex with him while he and Clare were together. I really feel horrible now!"
"Wait… Him and Clare?" Jess asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah."
"No."
"No?" Emily repeated.
"Yes, no. Him and Clare aren’t together. She was all over him earlier when they came for breakfast but he kept pushing her away. And he seemed to be a little upset about you not being here."
"Oh."
Emily was confused. She replayed what Clare had said at the River House in her head.
"You do know him and I are together, right?" Clare had asked.
"No… He never said anything to me about it. Well, except for saying that you and him weren’t together and that you’re Beth’s sister," Emily had said back.
"Well, things change. Damien and I hooked up. And you had better not do anything to interrupt our relationship or so help me, Emily, I’ll hurt you."
Emily had left on that note. Now she was sitting in her kitchen with Jess, watching her cry. Emily didn’t take threats well. Especially from crazy people like Clare. She had had a gleam in her eye that said she wasn’t kidding.
Emily sat with Jess and talked for a while. She willed herself not to think of Clare. Or Damien, for that matter. She told herself that she would stay away from Damien.
If she could.
