Second Job Interview - Ready, Set, Go Get That Job!
Getting called back for a follow-up job interview is a good sign that you are on your way to employment. This article discuss what to do to prepare for and expect from a second job interview.
You will be pretty anxious getting your first interview for a new occupation but the second job interview can cause even more anxiety. Generally you feel like you conquered the world since your first interview was so successful. You have made a good first impression on them and you stood out, but now you worry and start doubting yourself. Do they need to ask things they didn't ask last time? Who is my next interview with?
You may not be as nervous with the second interview, which is good. Relax and keep in mind that you must be confident walking into a new job. Keep in mind that you got this second job interview because they were interested in you in a good way and you are back.
Now that you’re more relaxed, you can concentrate on the questions and display your competence, although you must keep in mind that they may want you to answer in greater detail this time around.
You need to have a good appearance for all job interviews, be it the first or second one, so dress for success and take care of your appearance. If you show up looking like you just got out of bed, that positive first impression will go away and you will end up being kicked out the door.
You should try to remember the answers you gave to questions in my first interview and repeat them consistently if asked in future interviews. The interviewer may ask the same information over again. Try to relax and seem personable to your interviewers by engaging them. An employer is going to want to get to know the real you. They want to hire someone who is moral and assertive.
