Second Chance: Introduction
It hurts a lot when someone close to you die. But when the death of that person is because of one's own mistake then the whole life turn into guilt and regret...
"I hate you." Samara shouted. "I hate you for everything. You are nothing but a problem to me."
"Sa-Samara," he said, while hanging on the edge of the roof for his life.
"Don't. Don't say a word. And don't even think that I'm going to fall for your tricks."
"Samara please." He begged as tears began to run down his cheeks.
"Shut up. Just shut up. I don't give a damn about you." And taking one last glance she said, "Go and die. I don't care."
And just when she turned her back there was a loud thump.
She quickly turned around but didn't saw him. With fear clutching her heart she ran where he was and next she saw was... blood surrounding his lifeless body.
"NO." She screamed waking up.
She was panting heavily with sweat dripping from her forehead.
"Samara." Her parents burst into her room.
"Mom, Dad." She looked up.
"Sweety, what happened?" Her mother hugged her.
"Nothing. Just a nightmare." She whispered.
"Are you sure? It's nothing." Her father asked concerned.
She nodded.
He sighed, "Go to sleep. We are here."
She nodded slightly and lied down on the bed, closing her eyes.
Making sure that their daughter is sleeping peacefully, they left her room quietly.
As soon as she heard the door close, she turned around to look at her window.
She didn't knew how long she was crying looking at the stars.
"I'm sorry." She whispered, "I'm really sorry." She cried and turned her head away.
Years have passed but the nightmare still haunt her at night, reminding her about the cruel deed she did to her best friend.
She cried herself to sleep.
The wind outside started to pick up the speed. And the curtains were blowing away, making the photo frame, of Samara, on the table fall.
It's glass frame shattered into pieces.
Samara stir up and fall back to sleep.
And just then a shadow passed by her window...
