Sean Penn & Robin Wright Penn’s Divorce Called Off!

It has been confirmed that Tuesday the couple requested and was granted a dismissal of the divorce papers filed by Wright Penn. Later that night the couple showed up at an Eddie Vedder concert in San Francisco and Penn got up onstage and dedicated a song to his ladylove for her 42nd birthday. Reps for both have not commented on the turn of events.

Penn filed divorce papers in Marin County on December 7, but the petition was reportedly dismissed on December 18. Wright Penn filed her own divorce papers on December 21 citing irreconcilable differences and listed the separation date of December 1. Just recently it was rumored that Penn, 47, was romancing model Petra Nemcova, 28. The two were spotted together at the Elton John AIDS Foundation screening party after the Oscars in February. They were reportedly spotted getting cozy at Villa in Los Angeles the night before the Oscars. The two have said that they are "just friends." Penn reportedly serves on the advisory board of Nemcova’s charity. Wright Penn was also spotted with ex-beau Jason Patric while she and Penn were on the outs.

Penn and Wright Penn met on the set of the movie State of Grace in 1990. They moved in together shortly after meeting and were married in 1996. The couple has a 16-year old daughter, Dylan Frances, and a 14-year old son, Hopper Jack. Penn recently directed the movie Into the Wild and has a number of movies in the works. Wright Penn also has a number of projects in the works.
