These type of divers are required to go through a physical test and a series of pre-medical treatments, before starting their work. If they have worked in contaminated water, they need to go through the decontamination process. Hazmat diving is usually used in repairing pipelines, recovering bodies or lost objects, and controlling underwater pollution.
