Scrapbooking in La Habra, California
Learn of a few tourist attractions in the La Habra area. The photos from these attractions are sure to make a great addition to your scrapbook of southern California.
There are so many photo opportunities both in La Habra and also in the surrounding L.A. and Orange Counties.
Being a mom, I’ve always been on the lookout for photo opportunities that involved my children. The Children’s Museum of La Habra offers hands-on opportunities for both toddlers and also school age children. They offer model trains, a carousel, a science gallery, a mini market and much more.
Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm are two of my favorite tourist attractions in Orange County. I’ve been to both places countless times. It is possible to create an entire scrapbook on just your visit to either amusement park.
Consider a tour of the Irvine Museum. It is the only museum in California dedicated to the preservation and display of California Impressionism or Plein-Air paintings, an art style that flourished in California from 1890 to 1930.
I had never seen a bridal museum until I came across the House of Victorian Visions Bridal Museum. It is the only museum in the western United States offering a permanent collection of antique bridal gowns and accessories. The museum houses more than 40 gowns that date between 1835 and 1935, including some worn during the Civil War. Mannequins are used to display the many gowns and accessories in the museum.
If you are in the Orange County area, you’ll want to stop by The Paper Mouse. They pride themselves on ordering only the latest and greatest products.
When I looked at their calendar I was so impressed with the amount of free crop time they offered. So often I see store charge $5 to crop. At The Paper Mouse, it’s free to crop. I was also quite impressed that The Paper Mouse offers a mommy and me class. I know one of my daughters has enjoyed scrapbooking for many years with me, so a mommy and me class is awesome!
There are so many attractions in the Orange County area, you’ll want to stock up on paper and albums for all the photos you’re sure to take.
